I just wanted to say I discovered the Strictly threads a few weeks ago and they have made me smile. I've been unwell the past 2 and a half weeks with the flu, my lovely Granny passed away during this time and the guy I have been dating (and who I really liked) ghosted me during the week. I have been feeling particularly rubbish yesterday and today but have enjoyed reading all the Strictly news and gossip so thank you. Have a great weekend all.

@Moonbeams welcome. Sorry you’re having such a terrible time but it’s good to hear this has been a bit of light relief for you.

I don’t come on here until later on a Saturday night but I love reading back everyone’s comments as things were unfolding!

But I felt the same about Katie and while I am relieved she's gone and I wanted to understand how she has a speaking job too?!

Aljaz is also a sweetheart who really looks after his partners which I appreciate. The way he talked affectionately to and about Sara's two young sons on It Takes Two today was just so sweet+ heartwarming.

I must say, I am really liking this new Giovanni we are getting to see this year. He's had to turn everything he knows about teaching on its head- it was fascinating hearing him and Rose talk about how difficult tango has been for them because you must lean so far out and away and not look at eachother, but then Rose can't lipread Gio and Gio can't give any direction as they go along with the routine. What Rose is achieving is completely incredible, but figuring out a new way of musicless teaching and coaching is really showing a new height of Gios talent!

Gio has said he went to the Producers and asked to be partnered with Rose. I read this yesterday but now I can’t remember where but it was an article about how Rose wanted him as her partner as Italian’s are good at expressing themselves.
 
I think Dan’s time could be up this week. Looking at the clips from rehearsals even.

Awww I am so sorry for the loss of your Granny and everything else you’ve been going through. I hope things are on the up more and Strictly makes you smile tonight.

Thank you so much! Strictly is a great distraction and I have enjoyed checking in on Tattle. I'm looking forward to tonight's show, I have my treats in and my Mum is cooking my favourite dinner for me as I'm staying at my parents this weekend. Things can only get better 💕. Rose, John and AJ are my favourites but I like Judi too. Hoping she survives tonight!

Yea I agree I hope Judi says for a while yet! I’m loving seeing this new side of Graziano with her too.
 
I think Graziano is coming across well since he has been partnered with Judi! Her Charleston was a bit forgettable last week so hoping this week goes better for her. Same too for Giovanni, I wasn't always his biggest fan (I found him and Ranvir a bit cringeworthy last series) but I think he has a great partnership with Rose.

What the hell is John wearing? Gio whats on your head. Greg please use these faces tonight. Is there a more punchable face than Tom? And is Afam's balls ok after those flicks?
