They haven't lived together all series due to the couples having to keep separate.

That isn't AJs house, if you have ever had a look at her house renovating Instagram she doesn't do grey!
All the couples might be bubbling elsewhere this week although why the BBC would put West London/North West London I am not sure.
I would take a guess they are all now in the same apartment block.
Having them all living within a short commute of the studio and in a place where they can bubble for covid reasons makes sense to me. Or at least giving them the option to do that. And don't a lot of out-of-London contestants come to a hotel on normal weekends in any case?

Ah I LOVED Rhys’s last dance. So fun. Such a shame it’s not a 4 person final. But John in that dance off was the most energetic I’ve seen him in weeks so I do think he stepped it up.

Rhys' last dance was great but I've been throughly Rickrolled now. And I have horrible visions of Neil dancing to it now.

Even the Londoners will sometimes stay at the hotel on a Thu & Fri night especially during final week. It really depends on where their dance studios are they can be quite spread out and then the TV studio is way out in Elstree.
There is an apartment block strictly often uses to house dancers it's possible they have moved all the final couples in them. Separately not actually together in the same apartment.

Karen posted there that she can't dance for a few weeks due to her knee injury. Such a shame for her not to dance in the final.
Wonder what that means for the final dance? will Greg do a bit with Jowita? (or Dianne if Robert declines to appear in the final)?

Perhaps Greg will lift her or dance around her in a chair? It would be a shame for her not to be there at all.

I can't see Robert being there, tbh.

When Gorka had a back injury a few years back, I remember he sat on a bench next to Katie Piper in the final dance. Would be a shame is she misses it, but I guess it depends on how much rest she needs for her knee

Have there been any clues as to what dances everyone's doing in the final? From John's stories, he know what their judges choice is already

That does make sense. If I was in the Strictly final in 7 days, I would not leave the house at all!

Caught up on my lunch break today - delighted with the final 3! It’ll be an excellent final!

I hope Rose wins. Or John for me. AJ is my least favourite but I do still like her. Unfortunately she reminds me of a loud, annoying colleague who drives me up the wall. I can’t get past it 🤣

I liked the pro dance last night 🙈, loved the ladies' outfits!
(It should go without saying not the Neil being too cool for skool though!)

I don't mind street dancing/modern stuff, but just not when it's every single week - just more Latin and ballroom pro dances pls, Strictly 🙏. Also, I was quite interested to see which pros were any good at street dance - I noticed they'd put Aljaz right at the back for most of the routine, bless. I suspect ballroom is more his thing ha

And there was mercifully not as much Neil as I'd feared in that routine 😆

I think they’ve had a different set of creatives and choreographers this year. Aside from Matt Flint who’s been there since at least 2017 and Tommy who did last nights I can’t say I particularly recognise any of the choreographers names from previous years (although I’ve a memory like a fish with some things so could be wrong). Josh Keefe doesn’t seem to have come over this year and he seemed to do a lot of choreography/creative stuff. I’m not sure if it was covid that stopped him coming over or if he wasn’t asked but he’s one that’s been there a few years too. Same with Trent and Gordana .

Only Gorka and Nikita of the men were convincing street dancers

From what I’ve seen of Cameron I think he might be good at it too.

*Boring Old Wifey Klaxon*

Idk, the increase in street is just another step away from the old Strictly for me. I’m already anxious what it’ll be like next year 😂. I definitely think Craig is going and even though Gorka said he’s staying, I think sadly he’s keeping his options open (one of his other AMA questions was whether he and Gemma were going to have any more kids and he said they would like to give Mia a sibling. He looks like he’s struggled being away from them) but hopefully it’s just a bad series and he’ll be back next year.

As soon as someone said the new Producer was ex X Factor, it made sense. More sob stories, more skits, cringey segments when introducing someone new, worse singers, worse costumes, crazy scores (there was always rivalry between the Judges when I watched, although obviously they had acts they mentored so it was different - but how can Craig and Motsi/Shirley differ so wildly 🤷🏻‍♀️)…

Just been watching some of Rose and Gio's old dances on YouTube and I would really love to see their foxtrot to the Titanic theme again - I don't think I breathed the entire time I watched it the first time, and it still has that quality to it, where you're just captivated in the moment with them. Looking back at Rose, you can see she's almost a bit timid still as it's quite early on in the competition, so I would love to see what they do with it now.

When do they learn what the judges have chosen for them to dance? And when do they need to have decided on their own choice by? I bet there's a lot of strategy involved, because you'll want to show all of your skills and how far you've come, but without picking two dance styles that are too close. I guess there's also energy levels to consider! I would LOVE to see AJ's Charleston again, for example, but that was a really high-energy dance and might leave her knackered for the other ones.

John has posted that they have decided on their two dances - they probably have to think about them a bit in advance in case they make the final and what would work. Hope they do their pirates paso again!
