It was the best bit of the night - and so random! I’m guessing RC had been in Les Mis but he kept talking about “Young Tom” and him being as high achieving in dance as everything else so I thought he must know him personally…and then he said something along the lines of “I can’t remember what it is or any of the details I’m meant to talk about” and idk but I think that tipped Tom over the edge

I actually felt a bit sorry for Tom - bit mean of the BBC to show a message that was essentially ‘don’t know you, didn’t watch you, don’t know what I’m meant to say, where’s my beer and my cheque?’ immediately after he’d been told his dance was naff

Unexpected star of the show this week goes to......... *drum roll.......... Pissed Russell Crowe!!.
"I'm wet" pub landlady and him are def going to be battling it out for unexpected star of the show trophy! Pub landlady I think just has the edge!

These random VTs are giving me life this series. It’s one thing getting a message from say your old swimming coach or even the Wet Landlady from your local…but between this one and Tom Minchin - who I didn’t think Tilly or Nikita knew who he was - and him saying “your dance was amazing” when it was obviously pre-recorded, it’s adding a little something this year

Newbie Nancy..... I'm afraid I'm totally underwhelmed with. I think she's actually adding to Rhys being a manic out of control dancer, I don't think she's a very good teacher and or choreographer despite Kevin Clifton gushing that's she amazing! She isn't! I think she can be relegated to the back benches with Neil (don't tell @Oohthedrama I said so)

When Nancy said to Claudia that Rhys doesn't have any breaks....I mean, I don't think that's helping the situation much Nancy. The odd break is generally quite a good thing

I know he got a 40 last week (), but it is quite telling that she hasn't seemed to have ironed out any of his issues (too much energy, messy, dancing off the beat) by week 9 of the competition.

I just took this to be no one in strictly likes him either so they're properly scrapping the barrel to say something nice. If he's in next week, watch Amybot bang on about long covid and him whip out some weeping kids to try to make people like him. I bet it'll be a tit Xmas I the Fletcher household this year

I don't mind the randomness of the post-dance VTs, but they really need to stop having some of them obviously pre-recorded yet praising the dance we've only just seen. It simply does not make sense.

Just because they pretend Sunday is Saturday doesn't mean that the viewers are stupid.

It's just Karim part two and in both cases poor teaching that neither pros built varied cheorgraphies that have different pace and tone

The swimming coach wasn't even introduced, so I saw people going 'was that Adam's granddad??!'. Honestly it all seems a bit sloppy this year.

They should never have got rid of Lance Ellington.


Hated Tilly's dance. She did it well but it was just an awful dance.

That’s a very posh way of spelling ‘Shyte ’ Possibly from the Old English ? as for me, I always think ‘fart’ should be ‘phart’ . Shyte and Phart, so much more elegant.

I’m really struggling with watching Tess, it’s getting to be quite a weekly problem for me. Thank god nobody has the good sense to ruin put her on other shows! She’s shocking. I’d put up with all the other shite stuff if they’d just get rid of Tess!
