I noticed this! Could she be more obvious?!
I thought Shirley's advice to maisie was well out of order. She's only 19, was obviously nervous and she just told her to not be complacent. Then following up afterwards by saying she would save max was a calculated move to make sure maisie knows she doesn't rate her. She's so obvious it's pathetic. I also think she did it to keep the Dianne trolls off her back too.

But how classy was Dianne at the end. Thanking the judges for their harsh bitchy feedback was classic burn.

Amy needs to go. She blatantly doesn't care about jj's journey as long as she wins. Surely there's no more military they can milk out next week so he's finally got to be judged on his dancing.

But after tonight and seeing how maturely she reacted, I'd actually like maisie to win

I agree! Shirley’s comments to Maisie before the dance off weren’t words of encouragement. There was no “you are capable” or anything about her dancing; she actually said “don’t take anything for granted” - I mean wtf is that about?

Dianne is a beautiful person. So classy x

Shirley was so out of order to Maisie! She is only 19 and I like her and I love that she’s confident. I think she’s actually finding it all a lot more difficult than she thought she would and I feel sorry for her a bit.
shirley gave her nothing constructive to work on for the dance off and yea would LOVE to know her reasons for saving Max. Maisie was the better dancer. Fact.
She’s embarrassing herself.

Shirley embarrasses herself when she pulls that stunt. That’s all it is - a stunt. Without question Maisie was better than Max, so what possible justification can she have for saving Max!? Ridiculous.
Her justification for saving Max, is doesn't want the abuse she got last year for not saving Dev. Dianne's fans on Twitter are vicious & Shirley don't want to get on the wrong side of them again. Add to that she hates young, beautiful, talented women & she was always going to choose Max even if he fell flat on his face.

Loved Dianne thanking the judges at the end, killing them with kindness is ways the best way to deal with some of the unfair critisism she got from them this series

Do you think the pros just aren't as bothered this year round? Due to covid and no audience etc...this time last year Dianne was heartbroken when she had to leave, she was still having a bit of a laugh this time round. I thought it might be because at least she could see Joe again, but just read previous comments and they cant even go home

The vibe does seem to be a bit different this year. I also think that last year Dev had a lot of potential. He could've got to the final. I'm not sure whether she saw as much potential in Max.

I think maybe she knew it was the right time for them this year, let’s face it Max wasn’t great whereas last year it was a shock to everyone (I think)

maybe partly that but I also don’t think Max had the potential Dev had. He would have lasted only a week or two more if saved
