They don’t even use the terms high and low functioning anymore as it is actually damaging to how our perceived needs are met and therefore how we are treated. My friend is autistic (alongside my brother) but he can either be so social he has 4-5 people hanging out in his house every day or he doesn’t speak to anyone for a week because of the sensory & social overload! Its a very broad spectrum with it. There’s also high functioning & low functioning diagnosis to consider. I personally don’t think she’s autistic but nobody can actually prove it other than if she has an official diagnosis or not, for all we know it’s one like Eden Harv’s ADHD one
I am NHS diagnosed and have worked with a man that was so over sociable all of the time it actually put him in danger. He never burned out, never slept, had absolutely no social boundaries and just loved being around people & meet new people all the time.
We have to also remember that women are not diagnosed as often as men, a lot of women live their whole lives undiagnosed because they don’t act like men with ASD. I think she does show traits, but again I’m not here to armchair diagnose.
