Steve's World #1-Harassing CM's and Living with another streamer.

However, I could not believe my eyes, with an incident in the restaurant. This 'man child' will be 45 in January, he proceeded to pick up his knife, and either eat off it, or lick it. Now, I'm not a 'goody goody,' and what people do in the privacy of their own homes is fine. However, when you're in a restaurant, having dinner with your Mother, and live streaming with a few hundred people watching, what the heck.
45? I missed that. I knew he was up there, but more than half way to deceased if he keeps eating as much butter as I saw him glop onto his food last night (he took an entire 1/2 cup of whipped butter and dug every lost drop out for his plate... it was a heart attack just watching it. And he claims he's eating healthier... like how?

I tuned in long enough to see him lick his fingers on both hands and then took a hard pass on the rest. Seeing what vloggers do with their hands has made me never want to touch anything anywhere in WDW ever again.
None of them ever make sure their hands are clean before eating - and they all lick their fingers, even "good hair" Cory. Then they walk off and start touching all the stuff in the shops. There's a reason I carry lysol wipes with me when in WDW. :ROFLMAO:

I put last night's DadBuildz stream on for background this morning, but had to give it up after the first five minutes because of Steve's incessant honking and slurping and throat clearing. I'm shocked if his mom didn't tell him to keep blowing his nose and take an OTC decongestant while she was there. It was disgusting.

He was doing that at the table while they were eating on his stream on Monday. His mom just tunes it all out.

It's been a bit since I've watched a full Dadbuildz stream. I feel like Chris is slipping away from "I do this for fun and to relax" and into grifter mode. All the "Hippopotamus" songs played over and over are only proof of this, and then a few nights back he reminded people as a parting thought that if anyone wanted to send him money on his birthday to use PayPal, not superchat so he can get the money faster.

That was a shock to more than just me, you could feel it in the proverbial room when he said that.

I'm really getting tired of these channels pushing everyone to use PayPal, while claiming to stream because they love doing it. I also wonder how many of them have people add them as friends and family on PayPal in order to avoid paying taxes on those donations. Probably most of them.

If they need more money they should try not buying so much Disney tit.
Right!

"So I did a thing. I went to Lego.com... ", he then proceeds to pull out hundreds of dollars worth of legos.
How many times have we heard this sort of situation? Might be puzzles, collectibles, trading cards, even light sabres. Toys! Seriously, of all things to blow your money on. This applies to everyone in that group, Steve too except he's been diverting his money into collecting storage lockers.

"Boo Hoo, I'm short on funds now."

No tears from me.

With very few exceptions, most of these streamers seem to be shopaholics and borderline hoarders. Steve being the most extreme example, with his newfound storage unit obsession. But Jenna has an entire room in her house full of ears, toys and sadness. Living in DIZ seems to buy t-shirts and other merch every time they are in a park. They even joke that they can't use their dishwasher because it's overflow storage for Cory's mug collection. Josh doesn't buy much Disney stuff, but like Steve and his puzzles and Legos, Josh has his side-hoard of old computers and gaming systems. I guess living close enough to the parks to be able to visit them several times a week wasn't enough to fill whatever emptiness they have inside them.

People are complicated messes. All of us.
Most of us do not try to escape our daily issues by attempting to "live in the magic". We simply buckle down and then when we've resolved our problems treat ourselves to a vacation. This also keeps that magic alive and is felt as a reward.

Steve, Josh, Jenna, the Meyers, and way more than I can name all moved to central FL to immerse themselves in magic, only to find it's not the Band-Aid they needed. The magic is gone with Josh. We can feel it in his behavior and words. There's nothing left but making money off the parks for him now.

Jenna went to FL as her family was there only to find shopping paradise and an excuse to regress to a pre-teen, leaving all her worries on Dale. Dale and Jenna are now both big drinkers and no longer attempt to hide it.

Steve had a hard time up north and in a knee-jerk reaction sold his house and became homeless as he moved to FL. He's been scrambling since, still lost on how to buckle back down and live. It's possible his mom co-signed on a fixer-upper for him recently, hence his "Thanks for help with the house." I wonder if that "house" he is referring to is just another auction win and he's got even more problems on his plate now.

But Unlike Josh, Jenna, the Meyers and more, Steve realizes that Disney is not a cure-all. Doesn't stop him from running to the parks every time he can though.

Steve is claiming that he doesn't get to eat out much, and dinners like the one he had last night at Tune In Lounge have become rare and special.

I'm very confused at his statement. Every time I turn on his live streams they're eating there. The exception would be when he is re-broadcasting musicians playing on a stage and calling it unique content.

I feel like his brain is a melting icecube and through it he sees the world all warped to his own vision, not looking at reality.

Probably all the take out he eats. And didn't he just have a dinner out with his mom last week?

I got a surprise layoff from work today, so I'm going to make my way down to Orlando, find a vlogger with a spare room and spend the rest of my life roaming through the parks and buying puzzles.

Wow. Bad seasonal timing for that. (Not that there is ever a good time for it.) I'm SO, SO Sorry.

Thank you. Not great, but probably a blessing in disguise. But feel free to send me a superchat (just make sure it's on PayPay, obviously) 😛!
I'm so sorry to hear about your layoff. I hope it does turn out to be a blessing in disguise, and there's something better waiting around the corner for you. And/or that your vlogging career takes off, and your Sugar Mama Nita always remembers to use PayPal. 😉

Last night Steve got close to saying what's up with his "house". I'm becoming more certain he went to a foreclosure auction with his mom, bid on and won a place and now is dealing with some kind of unlivable mess. Perhaps there are utility and tax bills due on the property? Or maybe the prior owners or a tenant destroyed the plumbing? Something is clearly wrong with his new house as he's yet to stream from there or stay overnight.

What we do know is that Steve could not buy the house on his own. His mom either bought it, or has co-signed on it.

Interesting! Can't wait to see how this turns out. Surely, no matter what shape it's in, the house must be good enough to house Steve's storage unit "treasures" he is currently keeping in storage units and various friends' homes around Orlando?

That's for sure.
He claims his room at the Meyers is cleared out now and it's just a bed (and computer). So all that is off at the new location too.
