@eggfriedrice At the risk of derailing or going OT, im guessing BA will have the pleasure of his company until he’s sent to somewhere else? And his future holds being shunted round the country on a regular basis?

@stunrw i think I’m being quite stupid, but what do you mean by BA? In my experience at the minute with the prison service due to pretty much every OMU/POM being so overworked & catching up on things due to covid, and other reasons too, the prison service have put a hold on transfers between establishments unless it’s an immediate security threat, so when (fingers crossed) Stephen does get a custodial, it’s likely he will just stay in the prison he gets sentenced too (which will more than likely be his local prison unless they send him to a sex offenders only one) for his whole sentence….. but don’t quote me on that 😂

oh no, it doesn’t go well at all 😭😂 but, it is what it is 🤷🏽‍♀️ they should have thought about that before they abused their victims imo… not condoning violence in anyway at all and tbh we usually have the same prisoners being assaulted daily/weekly, but when they’re openly talking about their crime who can blame people… 🫣

I take my hat off to you. Even the thought of your job terrifies me. It was bad enough visiting someone in prison.

Sorry, BA is Belmarsh. Only prison I deal with in the UK 😂

I doubt he will go to the marsh as it’s Cat A and I don’t think he meets the criteria for a Cat A prisoner. Will be interesting to see where he goes when his sentencing comes if he does get a custodial though, I have a fair few friends from my training dotted all over the country in different prisons so fingers crossed he ends up in one of them!

Probably not 😂😭 he’ll prob just end up on a VP wing as an “isolator” for his protection or the better scenario would be the prison he gets sent to the induction staff don’t give a duck about him & put him on a normal wing (he can also request this)

Im not a betting man but if he was put normal he would be jumped within about 10 seconds 😂

We had a look round BA while the paperwork etc was being done and I was bleeping terrified 😂😂😂

CSC was off limits though 🙄

10000% he would be, he would go in all cocky & be shown what’s what asap! I can just imagine him shouting out his cell door & rubbing people up the wrong way!
and hahaha, I remember my first time in a prison before I did my training when I was shadowing and even though I started in a YOI (now cat b adults) I was shitting myself. They’re like a complete different world!!

just one question @stunrw, if he's got 36 life sentences (is it 15 years for a life sentence in the UK?) , why and how could he be considered for parole after 30 years?

I believe (@stunrw will correct me if I’m wrong) but the 36 life sentences are concurrent (so all run at the same time) so the 30 years will be the maximum tariff he got out of all of them so by then the other sentences will be “complete”

He will be 999 on his cell card I think (if they still exist) then after his 30 years and however many days expire he can apply for release. I think.

He will be kicked round the high security estate for the rest of time I think (@eggfriedrice help me here) as its all risk based if i remember rightly

He's going to try and off himself at the first given opportunity. Will he be given protection in there?

No he won’t, may be on a VP wing though. Also due to the length of sentence and previous serious self harm attempts, he will be on an ACCT upon return from court today (if he isn’t on one anyway) it’s basically a legal document that he will be checked on number of times hourly and documented incase he does try to attempt it.
Not to derail - I see jizz is trying to play wifey making pasta for Stephen tonight. I just keep counting down the days until his sentencing

I can see Stephen being on an ACCT if he gets a custodial. They’re taken so seriously and any slight hint of self harm or statement they’re going to harm themselves one gets opened

@eggfriedrice is the learned member here, but he can request to go on the wing reserved for people like him. If he gets a custodial it will be very unpleasant experience as in our prisons where I live if word gets out the “internal justice” is dispensed fairly quickly.

Not condoning. Just how it works in my experience. The normal population take exception to stuff like that

It’s exactly the same in UK prisons too. Sex offenders and anything to do with children are the lowest of low in the “rank of prisoners” they have between themselves.
