She doesn't have a chest infection - I reckon she's got a virus, which won't respond to antibiotics (if she ever got them from the doc, that could have been anything in that pharmacy bag). There's a cough going round that can last for weeks and months. It's viral.

Most people would call it a cold and go about their day but it's more interesting content if she's sick with some awful infection
