I struggle to pay for uniform so from June to August I buy in parts. Get shirts and trousers from M&S as need their longer sizes and always when they have 20% off
Then school bag & stationery
Then shoes and trainers

She’ll soon be struggling when her TT crashes
 
I'm sorry but if she feels so strongly about max being forced into school why doesn't she home school for the first year? Work on getting him ready, expose him to more social situations and giving him ways to cope outside of the house.
Nobody is saying it's easy but she really does seem to do nothing with him!

Think most folk have to buy it in stages according to wages. I’m going today to get last wee bits
 
Fml is she ever fecking happy, she’s pre empting that it will be a nightmare without knowing. If she feels like it is then she should get up off her lazy arse and get him into a routine of going out the house and driving somewhere ffs. Hauled up in the house all day now he’s used to it so bloody do something about it instead of sitting in your pjs all day filming crappy tik toks. The dramatics of it, one minute she’s gurning cause she doesn’t know if he will get a place in school now she’s gurning cause he’s going to school. She’s fecking draining
 
So did max not get into the SEN school then? I thought she would have been on tiktok making videos kicking up fk for him not getting a place

No one will have forced you Steph. And we all look at our kids when they go into P1 and think “they aren’t ready”. Can you imagine how hard it was for folk like me, who knew there was something different with their child and I knew they were on the spectrum but kept being fobbed off. My child wasn’t even two weeks in P1 and they pulled me in and told me something I already knew. You are very lucky that Max has even had the appropriate care he has had up to this point. She’s always bleeping playing the martyr isn’t she.
 
Don't know about any of uz but wen mine were going into p1 I worried aw no what if he/she can't do up their buttons or zip their jacket I think it's just a normal feeling we all worry about our kids. My wee boy I got him the trousers that you just pull up too no button or zip etc for the first year nothing to do with your child having additional needs it's just a thing we all worry about. All she goes on about is the things m can't do nothing about the things he can
 
How can her son not go to a SEN school? Is he going to a traditional school? From her tiktoks he clearly doesn't have the ability to sit in a classroom all day and concentrate?
All she shows of him is him running around making loud noises or looking at an i pad all day, he's also non verbal isn't he?
Surely he won't be able to cope with a traditional classroom and it will be distressing for him?
How will he cope wearing a uniform and following rules? Surely he needs to goto a place that understands his needs and can work 121 with him.

I think she’s being really horrible showing all this stuff off, I know she’s not responsible for anyone else’s financial situation but she could be doing with showing a bit of humility. You could get a full uniform and a coat for that from Asda and that will be what so many families will be buying out of necessity.

£53 is a lot of money for something he’ll get what, 1 year out of max?

And this point could just be me but absolutely nobody is going to give a shiny tit that Max has a Ted Baker jacket - the kids won’t care and their parents won’t see him (unless there are others who take their kids in - that’s one good thing, I half expected her to wangle transport from the Shire so it’s nice to see she doesn’t get her own way every single time). So is she deliberately showing off and trying to make folk feel bad?
