Sorry but why are UK schools copying American culture? Practically a graduation for each year during primary then a massive duck off ‘class of blah blah’ leaving party 😭 then a very Americanised prom for the secondary school kids when they finish. Just pack it in! Wasn’t like this when I was in school and I finished sixth form in 2009, ffs. We did have a prom but it was at some hotel and it was crap so I didn’t bother going!

Graduations start at nursery schools these days - I think they're utterly ridiculous, then primary school "proms", leavers parties etc. Thank f my kids' school doesn't do any of it.

No way this was planned and executed within a day. It may have been last minute but she is lying.

OK don't all attack at once.. I dont come to Tattle to complement ANYONE, this is my moan and rant place 😅😅 but
I'm just normal Joe and I have had to pull off a party like that twice... she said the castle is her mates which what's making me comment it was exactly what I done, my friend owns castles they done me a solid, that sticker takes 20mins to print I've had ta do that last minute on sport teamwear.
It only LOOKS extravagant, step back for a second and it's literally a bouncy castle and a sticker. I could have a castle to my house within 2hrs if I made a call now and if I had a name like hers I'd prob have a few willing to give me for the tag.

Everyone of us here could pull that party off at short notice it was duck all really, a quick clean the garden take us 30mins, a quick trip to shop(mandy prob done it) for snacks etc which I didn't see but did missed some of the show so may have been but it was simplest party, I've had and im sure everyone here has had better without the need to flog my soul in the process.

The pool fella is the only one I wouldnt have clue about, I only wish I had a pool 🤣🤣

Yes the American thing is quite cringe these days. I get that finishing year 6 is a mile stone but ‘graduation’ from nursery with a 2 year old in a mortar board hat is too much for me 😂 I left secondary school in ‘99 (👵🏻) and we had a prom- we asked for one because all the teen movies out then had one in it (American Pie, She’s All That, Never Been Kissed etc- a golden age of cinema 😂). It was a standard issue party in a hall except with girls in long dresses (from Bay Trading and Miss Selfridge). When I see all the faff for them now I’m scared what will be the norm for my 6 year old one day 😂 (I’m not sticking letters on a white castle I’ll tell you that for free)

We had a summer ball when I left secondary in 2004. It was just a disco, some food in the school hall but everyone arrived in limos and dresses from select/bay trading etc
I've seen some primary schools have ticketed proms £40+ 😯 my eldests school don't do a party, they go down to our local beach for a bit after school. Think my youngests do a party in the hall and a treat day

Bay Trading!!! Ooh the memories 😃😃

All for attention. She could have just said I have offered to have the party here and leave out all the tripe about sorting everything in a few hours.

Someone mentioned Rex upthread, looking like a fish out of water at some football or something. I think the older ones who get to escape the SS show have a better chance of being well-adjusted to the outside world. It used to depress me slightly when I first started reading her threads - that the children were never really anywhere except 'pickle 🤢 cottage'.

Nearly like a flipping cult or something.

Everyone commenting how wonderful she is for putting this on in her home and one mention how the other ‘normal’ parents must have really appreciated it as most likely couldn’t have afforded it themselves! 😂👌🏼 condescending

Rex actually looked like a rabbit in the headlights, he had no idea what was going on poor little fucker. His usual day consists of feeding, rocking, singing too, bouncing he’s two sisters! He’s a bleeping au pair. He was also dressed in dirty, scruffy clothes too. She is the worse mum ever. 🤬

BIB - There's a few others who are the subject of threads on here that would compete for that title.
That's not a defence of her btw.

She is very careless about the children's safety and also very controlling, imo.
