Sorry but why are UK schools copying American culture? Practically a graduation for each year during primary then a massive duck off ‘class of blah blah’ leaving party then a very Americanised prom for the secondary school kids when they finish. Just pack it in! Wasn’t like this when I was in school and I finished sixth form in 2009, ffs. We did have a prom but it was at some hotel and it was crap so I didn’t bother going!
Bay Trading!!! Ooh the memoriesYes the American thing is quite cringe these days. I get that finishing year 6 is a mile stone but ‘graduation’ from nursery with a 2 year old in a mortar board hat is too much for me I left secondary school in ‘99 () and we had a prom- we asked for one because all the teen movies out then had one in it (American Pie, She’s All That, Never Been Kissed etc- a golden age of cinema ). It was a standard issue party in a hall except with girls in long dresses (from Bay Trading and Miss Selfridge). When I see all the faff for them now I’m scared what will be the norm for my 6 year old one day (I’m not sticking letters on a white castle I’ll tell you that for free)

Everyone commenting how wonderful she is for putting this on in her home and one mention how the other ‘normal’ parents must have really appreciated it as most likely couldn’t have afforded it themselves! condescendingJBtreatcarts have posted the food stalls they provided. Rex actually looked like a rabbit in the headlights, he had no idea what was going on poor little fucker. His usual day consists of feeding, rocking, singing too, bouncing he’s two sisters! He’s a bleeping au pair. He was also dressed in dirty, scruffy clothes too. She is the worse mum ever.
