What I don’t understand is why everything has to be devoid of any colour? Hinch is the same; with the pair of them everything’s grey or beige or cream or greige and it just saps any motivation I might have. If I had to live there I’d lose the will to live in the sea of inane blandtidue (I think I made that word up but it seems apt!) as there’s just nothing of any interest, all the rooms merge into one homogenous blur!
We all know how wash-averse Stacey is as well so having such light furnishings and the suchlike can hardly be practical! Case in point is that awful cream fleecy/bobbly sofa; if my sofa had been that filthy I’d have been mortified but Stacey had no shame at all cheerfully showing off her ming when the carpet cleaner came out. Dirty madam.
Everytime she tackles a new room I think well maybe this is a chance for something a bit different but then nope, it’s more of the same, boring, bland, colourless blurgghhhh. I feel for Rex and Roess when they get into the real world and they realise everything doesn't have to be in the same limited spectrum of colours, it’ll be a shock to the system! What with that and for Mick especially being told no for the first time and that he can’t do and behave exactly how he wants, well his little mind will be blown!
