I'm sure we've had this forest school/power tool debate before when Rex was seen playing with tools (#PowerToolGate). I think it's obvious that the problem people have with Rex playing with these tools is that he's not being properly supervised - his Mum is more worried about filming for the gram than properly supervising. God forbid, if he had have got himself in the face with the drill, she may not have got there quick enough to stop. At least at these forestry schools the children are properly supervised - and that is the difference.

*deletes what she was writing* You’ve said it better than I could and yep, you’re totally right.

There’s a whole world of difference between safely teaching kids new skills with tools in a controlled, risk-assessed setting when they’re being properly supervised and what Stacey was doing; letting a two year old blindly mess about with a power drill whilst she filmed it to stick on her social media! 😳

Believe me just because your not in a position to own your own home that doesn’t make you a thick bleep!!! 🤬

I think people mean that those individuals are more readily criticised and ridiculed by the same people who lick Stacey’s hole. But take your point

I don’t think people mean folk from council estates are stupid. I think they just mean folk aren’t as judgemental or jump to conclusions about folk with money. whereas if it’s someone from a lesser background folk automatically jump to conclusions. All about stereotypes

That isn't what people mean. They mean that people are quick to judge people with less money than the glossy ones with money who are like Teflon.

Given that she’s doing the decorating and painting in it shows what she really thinks of it. Easy come, easy go. I, like most people, have a set of decorating clothes specifically for painting in because I can’t afford to keep replacing clothes that have been spoiled.

Do people mean if she was someone from a council estate people would judge more harshly eg media,social media,children’s school etc? That’s how I feel when people say that anyway. It’s like she has the money without class,style or education imo. Like when I was growing up a phrase was all fur coat and no knickers. I don’t think people are saying people who live on council estates are ‘chavvy’ more that if she lived on one she’d be criticised by people like her ‘fans’ rather than them sucking up to her. Many influencers aren’t people with genuine talent are they like actors,musicians so they have to manipulate their image and manipulate the public. Smoke and mirrors.

My eldest is a girl and I have 2 younger boys. Give me boys any day over a miserable preteen who walks around the house rolling her eyes at me and just being a witch 😂
Seriously, I’m grateful for my kids, but, duck my life, girls are such hard work!

I don't often comment on SS but I do read through the threads! Just wanted to add that Stinky has a massive platform, and will probably have a lot of followers with kids of a similar age. Her showing Mick playing with a drill is dangerous, not only for him but for anyone that might think it's ok and copy her - letting their kid do something without properly supervising. No doubt she will come on when she's had a Tattle catch up to say that loads of Wilmas have messaged about the danger, and reassure everyone that Dodgy Dave was right there 🙄
