She said the cat was too cosy with the neighbours so they left it behind with them but then took on a very domesticated “stray” as soon as they moved. Makes no sense
Im sure she said something as well like "we didnt want to bring her to the middle of nowhere as we didnt think she'd like it". I remember at the time thinking all that land the cat would be happier than ever.
 
Oh god this will sound awful but my parents left our cat when we moved, he never spent any time indoors and was always at the neighbour's. My mum likes cats but had a thing about not letting him on the beds or sofas and didn't like him being left in overnight in case he pooed. So no surprises he didn't spend much time at ours :ROFLMAO:
When I moved out, me and my partner got a cat and he basically rules the roost, he's allowed to do anything and go anywhere haha.
 
Yet another place that’s managed to squeeze them in on short notice/bank holiday and coincidentally happens to be one she visited as a kid 🤔🤥


ETA* reading mistake, she just compared them to ones she had visited. Either way, I smell bullshit
