I get that they’re on their hols and it’s lovely to relax and throw routines out the window…. But letting your 2 yr old stay up until midnight is just insanity. And a bit cruel fir the poor kid.

Hi everyone! Newbie here

Is it just me (I doubt it) that gets overly annoyed at Stacey's lack of routine with her kids? It really shouldn't bother me as much as it does haha. I have 3 kids (9,7 and 19 months) and they are all in bed by 8pm latest, OK my older two get to stay up a bit later on weekends I'm not a complete psycho but Stacey letting Rex stay up for as long as he wants really baffles me, it won't hurt to put him to bed at 7.30 and have him up early to make the most of her day, but then I guess she can't have her cuppa and a fag I'm peace in the mornings then

They aren't on holiday though, she's filming Sort Your Life Out down in Cornwall, her 2 co-presenters are down there too, they had a day off yesterday.

I would have been annoyed when I had my one perfect child with the best routine. Now I’ve a little girl a bit older than Rex & we have no routine despite my best efforts. I’ve shed so many tears over feeling like a total failure. She has only ever fallen asleep outside of the house 5 times since she was born. Even as a tiny baby she would lie awake in her Pram for hours until we got home. Now she will not nap before 3pm regardless of what time we wake her at in the morning. When she naps she will still be awake until 10pm or later, if she doesn’t nap at all she will wake in the middle of the night for 3+ hours despite lying in the dark with minimal interaction, there’s no incentive for her to be awake she just can’t fall back asleep. I was broken over it for a long time but now I’ve just accepted it as it’s not worth stressing over once we all get sleep, she’s happy & healthy & I’m sure the sleep will sort itself in time.

I honestly think it’s all a lie and she does have a routine but is trying to make out she’s a really chilled out mum and it’s all happy families. Joe said on the lockdown podcast that they have a really good routine with Rex and it’s Stacey that’s more strict with it than him....
