I know it was posted several hours ago but that story of Rex is still haunting me. Yes children get messy but they are also super easy to clean up by plonking them in the bath and putting on fresh clothes. At that age mine would have 2 or 3 outfit changes a day as it's just grim to leave them in filthy clothes. The worrying thing is she doesn't see anything wrong in posting that story - where does she draw her line on what is or isn't acceptable to post? Maybe the day to day reality of how he's cared for is even worse ☹️

He’s actually lost any cuteness. He’s probably a lovely little boy, but the dirty hair, filthy clothes, feet and nails are gross. He hasn’t been taught any manners or boundaries, he’s pulling the dogs tail in that disgusting photograph.
Why does she do it?
It’s like being so dirty is a money raiser and poor Rex has been hauled into it.
She used to say her mum plaited her hair, I suspect her mum cared for the kids too.
Joe is as much to blame here too. They are a filthy family 🤢

I always think this too. How can she possibly think it’s normal to video Rex looking filthy and show millions of strangers. I just don’t get it. Because if she’s trying to be relatable she’s failing miserably. He can’t possibly feel comfortable or smell fresh. I’ve wondered before why her family don’t intervene. Or is she the celebrity queen bee and they don’t want to upset her. I agree with @Rubyronron too - Joe is just as much to blame.

We went through a period of being flat broke years ago, we just about scraped by from month to month but we never scrimped on toiletries or clean clothes. I can’t ever recall a day where my son was filthy.
Even now If we’re having a day out that might involve getting wet or dirty we go prepared & regardless of where I’m going I always have a change of clothes for my toddler & a couple more nappies than I would normally use in a day becasue you just never know how a day is going to end up.
but for him to be that dirty, in his home where everything is just a few steps away is just pure laziness.

I never comment on these threads but just had to say I've never seen a woman shove a pregnancy in someone's face as much as she does . It's non stop and why I unfollowed. I'm ttc for a good while now and just can't stop getting a knot in my stomach she's insensitive in my opinion

Baby girl, baby girl, baby girl…yawn, yawn. I’m of a age when the gender reveal was when the midwife told you what your baby was at birth. Stacey and her incessant prattling about her daughter is leading me to think gender scans are A Bad Thing. We’ve months more of the same to look forward to.
And why is she doing the nursery up now? Surely the “baby girl” won’t be next or near it for a year. (In truth we know she will probably join in with the rest of the family in the parental bed). Bore off, Stacey, there’s a love.

People think she's relatable,I don't find that that leaving your kids in full nappies with dirty clothes and hair is relatable in any way and parent out there that thinks that is ok needs to give their heads a wobble, once every so often is absolutely fine and kids will be kids but at least start the day with them clean and fresh,it's not that difficult to do.

I agree. It’s definitely OTT. I didn’t even speak to my closest family about my pregnancy as much as she talks to total strangers over stories!
I was TTC for 8 years before I caught so I understand how hard it can be, she needs to wind it in a bit!

I agree with you, he looks filthy and if she was an average Joe people would be saying something about the state of him. It's obvious they love him and he's not treated badly and as you said no need for social services at all, but they do need to wash him.
If it were any other child in an early years setting and if you take the accident and the hygiene together then its enough for a safeguarding issue to be raised.
What services do with that is up to them, but based on what we see, then as a professional I'd be raising a safeguarding case as a basic measure to cover myself as well as want to protect the child
