I just stumbled upon this tweet and remembered when Shane had to keep the limelight on himself when he proposed at Hannah's graduation party and how a lot of us thought that was so tacky for him to do. It was HER special day, not his. But of course, Shane being Shane, was jealous.

Then I check in here to see someone else saw it, too!

In a recent video Shane wrote a long monologue about all the "haters" out there who don't think he deserves to live, blah, blah, blah, BECAUSE OF HIS DISABILITY," and how it makes him want to give up being an "advocate" for people with disabilities. Granted, there are some trolls out there that may believe that, but I dare say most people, myself included, find him to be a narcissistic, insufferable, humorless little jerk, not because of anything to do with his disability, but because of the way he acts. One can be just as obnoxious with a disability as someone able-bodied. Having a disability doesn't make you immune to criticism.

ETA: I do hope that Hannah and Charisma have become true friends; I don't know why but I just hope they have.

I notice the lack of updates on here. I don't think about S&G often these days unless one of their videos rolls across my "suggested" content.

Are any of you regulars still here? @DoubleOld, @SmallWonder, and too many to name! I know there are more. I don't want to exclude anyone.

Last I saw, it was June, almost 3 months ago when they were in MN, and they were describing what they said was like a bad case of food poisoning that SHOULD have landed Shane in the hospital. They were returning from another vacay to Cancun when Shane began to feel sick. One would think considering his size that dehydration could quickly become a big problem, necessitating IV fluid replacement, but instead of taking him to the ER they chose to ride it out. Even if someone is unwilling to seek medical help, there sometimes comes a time when someone has to be the responsible adult and veto the person's wishes.

Once back at the McMansion Shane said he began vomiting every half hour. He described himself as "a shell of myself." Then he began hallucinating. And still, Hannah didn't call 911.{

In their words, the most important development in all this, with Shane barfing 24/7, Hannah rigged up a big bowl to go on the nightstand next to Shane that would direct his vomit into the bowl, allowing Hannah to not have to constantly help him.

Sounds like whatever it was, Shane survived, and they took a couple of out-of-state trips. So to the people who question if Hannah is taking proper care of Shane, this seems to indicate a lapse of judgment on her part.

S&H said they were "executive producers" in a movie called "Good Bad Times." I didn't see either of their names in the imdb or on the official movie site. Not sure if it gained much exposure. They showed a trailer for it back in August.

Just glancing at their newer video titles, it looks like they're still hobnobbing with Cole and Charisma. I remember a few years ago they rarely showed C&C on their channel. I always got the feeling Shane was somewhat jealous of Cole who other than being in a wheelchair looks like your average adult male. Their differences are striking when you see the two of them side by side. Maybe Shane grew up some. He's still got a long way to go!

Recently they were still in MN. Oh, Hannah got a new haircut. Shane's strength was recently tested to see if his SMA has changed in its severity. The medication he takes is supposed to stop the progression of his condition. I'll say this. I agree that the insurance company should not have the power to determine, based upon one day of tests, that a treatment, if it's been demonstrated over a period of months to be of benefit but, like Shane says, if you happen to be having a bad day when they do the testing, you're SOL. This isn't right if his quality of life is stable or even improving. He should be able to continue receiving it. These specialized drugs are so expensive there are few people who could afford to buy them OOP. So based upon his test results, he was approved for further treatment with the drug. Good for him!

I also don't think about S&G often these days unless one of their videos rolls across my "suggested" content. I just get a strong "ick" factor. (AND, NO, I AM NOT AN ABLEIST). I question the whole purpose of their channel. Unlike Sabia and Loren, for example. Or Viola and Dan. They could milk the shock factor or throw nudity into the mix but they don't.

It's true that Shane could have died from the continued vomiting. In fact, I wonder if it all really happened. Maybe he was slightly nauseous or threw up once but considering he has difficulty even swallowing his own saliva, I don't think he could have had that much vomiting without it turning into a choking emergency. Or, at the very least, a dehydration emergency requiring hospitalization.

Either way, there's something dishonest about S&G but I'm so over them that I don't even try to figure it out anymore.

Glad to see ya! I agree that whole story didn't make much sense. If Shane went that long w/o being able to keep even fluids down... they said for 2 weeks... I don't see how he could have survived w/o medical intervention.
 
Not seen any of their videos for ages then one pops up, they were talking about the size of Shane's penis and whether he can get an erection. Apparently it's normal size and yes he can. Please don't watch, it was awful.

NB. I have no problem with anyone that is differently abled having sex, I think that's great, however this was beyond cringe

Hehehe Shanes peepee size reminds me of a beavis and butthead episode where they cant fit into cups (athetic supporters for nuts) and end up being given eye patches...that fit them.

100s of videos displaying shanes non existent package. Hes so self conscious and overly obsessed with his image, which was the main reason he wanted to create this little circus act. Its ok to have a little weewee shane, no one cares, only you.

Just like they have wild sex all night when its not even pjysically possible, nevermind he could literally be killed just trying due to his bones being so brittle. They had to pad him up looking like the stay puff marshmellow man for a game of street hockey but hes totally capable of having a huge woman on top of him somehow squeezing through his super brittle bent knees that are stuck like that.

I havemt watched them in years. This tab is still open on my tablet but I never look at it much. Squirmies bs is just old boring recycled clickbait. Exactly ! She’s obviously as cold as charity because someone whose life is literally devoid of touch, passion and human intimacy as we know it would have to be a pretty hardened character! Her only satisfaction would be that she is chief diaper changer cook, bottle washer and boss man lady so running the tit show and having the final say on life’s decisions must be right up her alley.
I bet there will come a day when we check to see how this odd couple are doing only to read they’ve split or Shane died of some wicked winter bug/lung infection and Hannah has moved on. Let’s see …

Youre assuming shes a normal minded woman. Shes so off no one even knows wtf shes thinking. She has made several Anti-men comments on social media, absolutely disgusted by strong masculine men and there ways. She seems to swing the other way. Ironically enough, she has shown much more physical affection towards her old bestie meridith than she ever has with shane.
The motives are obvious enough from her perspective. Shes made herself worth over a million, maybe several millions by now. Her parents have even gained quite a lot from the show. No dount shes happy as far as all that goes, but true happiness 🤷 No sane woman would think such a life is worth the money, not for how long she has rode it out, hell no. But who knows. She may have a whole other life of her own off camera, anyones guess.
