Boasting and smirking about getting people firedSophie addressing catcalling yet again now as a podcast guest…
It’s truly disgusting how she’s so proud of herself for ruining someone’s life/income.Boasting and smirking about getting people fired
Oh come on, there’s a difference between looking at a girl and noticing she’s attractive, but keeping that to yourself - and harassing someoneSo what do you expect to happen?! ALL men to walk around blindfolded?!
I totally get that, but the commenter says it’s not acceptable, which is isn’t, but what other resolution do you have?Oh come on, there’s a difference between looking at a girl and noticing she’s attractive, but keeping that to yourself - and harassing someone
It’s not acceptable no, but since this Sophie there’s probably (valid imo) assumption by most on this thread that the harassment didn’t happen / happen to the extent she portrays. It’s not acceptable to be harassed when going out in public while minding your own business . It’s just not ok to be ok with that.
the fact it happens so much there is scary and more women need to speak up and show it’s not ok.
Im confused there are women here, who are not only ok with a fellow women being harassed, but also mad that she stood up for herself.

Urgh, fur coat. Disgusting.
Would she wear Hendrix as a muff if he was skinned alive?
Do people get flour or paint thrown on them for wearing fur as they did the 90s??
What did she say happened? I’ve not listened to it.Someone probably whistled at her or just told her to smile (if!) and she’s calling it harassment.
We (as women) need to also not call everything “harassment” when we don’t like something or just disagree with someone else’s behaviour.
I think we can agree that if she was seriously harassed we would stand by her side but it’s Sophie we are talking about.

Just looks so bad, it’s supposed to fit, not everything is made for an oversized look.
And I’m sick of her hair cutting stories. FFS just either do it or don’t.
I didn’t listen but last year she told the story about a van driving (construction workers) by and making stupid comments/catcalling/whistling while she was filming/taking pictures. She then went to search for the company, called them and reported their behaviour. Back then she was extremely proud of herself and went on for days and days about it.What did she say happened? I’ve not listened to it.
I probably wouldn’t ever go to the effort of looking someone up to make a complaint and get them fired (I have a job and Sophie famously has a lot of time on her hands) but I don’t feel bad for anyone who’s got fired AT ALL whilst catcalling on the job. It is harassment and can be deeply uncomfortable, and if I owned a construction company I’d hate to think of my employees roaming the city in my branded vans yelling at women. It’s ok to not like Sophie but also hold men to a slightly higher standard than ‘they didn’t attack her so we’ll just pass it off as an inconvenience’…
