LOL. It's really interesting you read it that way - I now need to rewatch it I didn't get the vibe Harry disliked him, though I did have the podcast on in the background while I was working, and dipped in/out at points. Though I did definitely get the sense of Harry feeling superior to him at points, and looking down on him as a silly reality TV star. That moment where Jamie boasted about getting a BAFTA and Harry incredulously replies "what for?!!". Jamie responds by laughing hysterically, oblivious to the fact Harry is genuinely baffled by it.I watched it earlier and thought it was the worst one yet! I love Harry Hill but it was clear he didn’t like Jamie at all, and seemed to enjoy making him feel uncomfortable. Jamie overcompensated by laughing a lot (over the top) and trying to relate as much as possible. When he did the ‘eight questions’ and Harry Hill said ‘we don’t have to, it’s too much…’ and Jamie persisted and asked him one promising they’ll be done soon, and Harry Hill said ‘what a stupid question… really? People answer these?’ So incredulously
Jamie’s ham neck was really reddening up a treat
The questions bit at the endI guess Harry got away with being condescending throughout because Jamie just assumed it was part of his act. He does the same with Sophie when she emasculates him. Laughs hysterically until he's as red as a beetroot, not realising these people are laughing AT him, not with him.
I can see why Harry would look down on him. The guy was a doctor before starting a comedy career from scratch (not that I personally rate his dad humour ). He put in the graft to get where he is, while Jamie had absolutely everything handed to him on a plate.
If anyone hasn't seen the episode yet, I definitely recommend giving it a watch for the lols.
