It's the kind of idiotic convo you'd expect from someone off their nut. Surreal, almost. The way her eyes flit all over the place as well. I can't tell who she's talking to.

As she kept talking, all I could think was "this idiot actually got into university. She passed A-levels and got UCAS points yet can barely string together an intelligible sentence". The future generation of Langs is f*cked.

Why is she talking so erratically fast as well... Plus what's with the ditsy girl persona she's assumed on the podcast? She was never like that on MiC. Taking lessons from Emily Blackwell. Neither sound cute or endearing, just annoying af.

I looked up Sophie's degree and you have to get a AAB to get on the course😯 It's a Russell Group uni as well, which blows my mind.

Zara McDermott is my absolute favourite when it comes to faux posh accents.
 
I’ve always had a soft spot for Jamie, in the beginning I liked Sophie. I was into the whole nearly weds podcast, would show funny clips to my other half etc.
I don’t know if it’s this thread that’s opened my eyes, or Sophie in her mannerisms, eyes, scattyness.. but it’s like the whole rug has been pulled from underneath them and they (more Sophie) are just a deer in headlights now. Really sad, I don’t think the marriage will work, give it a year or two..

I’m exactly the same, I actually enjoyed the podcast and Jamie’s other one. I think it’ll end even sooner but they’ll cover it up for ages as their marriage is pretty much a brand

Me too, I used to listen to his podcast Private Parts, it always made me laugh. The I liked him in the Celebrity Bake Off and Strictly. He always seems to get on with everyone and enjoy what he is doing.
I find it sad that his marriage is such a mess.
 
To be fair he’s probably a spoilt entitled nightmare behind the scenes, he just appears all friendly and lively because of his ADHD. When his energy levels run out after trying so hard all day he probably crashes and is really snappy
No essays about ADHD please, I’m talking about Jamie and his particular entitlement and personality, if they relate directly to Jamie and traits we see in him than fine ;)

Yep, he presents well on TV/radio, full of fun and laughter with good energy but you never know what life is like behind the screen!

I love that one and have listened from the start but I wondered if they have fallen out and that's why it's not back. Maybe after whatever it was Spencer did at the wedding. Before the wedding there was a discussion on the podcast where Jamie was saying he was annoyed S didn't go on stag do and S was trying to explain that it was not good for him to be around loads of people drinking and J didn't get it. Wonder if S is pissed off that he risked his sobriety/marriage by being around a whole load of drugs at the Spanish wedding.

I know a girl who runs in the same crowd as Sophie. She went to private school and got straight As, studied science at a red brick. Still acted like a bimbo. It’s sad.
