She got a lot of mileage from "The Young Mummy" tag so I'm guessing she's trying to move down "The Geriatic Mummy" path now to see if it gets any traction.

I wasn’t labelled or treated as geriatric (whatever that entails) for my last pregnancy, even though I turned 35 before baby was born.

She just turned 34. She will be 34 when baby is born. It’s not a geriatric pregnancy. She’s not that old. We were calling her that as a joke, surely she’s not going down that route. She so average 😂

She loves to be labelled and a "single, geriatric, lesbian mumma" will cover a lot of bases in her head.

I think geriatric pregnancy age has increased like someone else said. But also I bleeping hate that term personally, I find it really offensive and I would have hated to be referred to as that when I was pregnant. I seriously think it should be changed. I'm generally speaking not easily offended and it might be a medical thing but yeah either way don't care!

I was 36 when I had my son, and was considered geriatric. It made me laugh more than it offended me....but I don't know why they can't just call it high risk.

It has changed! It’s “advanced maternal age” now.

I had twins last year at 38 and every single health professional I saw said it is absolutely not referred to as “geriatric” anymore.
