I was about to say the same.
Poor kid thought she was getting away from her creepy older Mum friend.
She’s probably offered to pay for it if she wears one of those ugly jumpers for 5 minutes.

Oh I am SO glad I wasn’t the only one who immediately had those thoughts! I wonder if she will conveniently find a women’s NBL game where Maddie will be playing/training, while she’s there! It definitely does seem very odd, this “work trip” seemed to pop out of nowhere.. and it seems quite irrelevant. What does Vegas have to do with anything she sells!? :/
