I don't understand the Doona. I only seen influencers using it and I don't know how it is allowed to be sold.

Newborns shouldn't be in a car sear for more than 30 mins because their chin is on their chest and it can reduce oxygen to their brain. I always see influencers walking around shops or going to restaurants with their baby in the Doona, along with driving time they are in their for hours.

I also can't get over people in the comments telling her to put the baby in it's own room! This is how they are still getting views, their audience is made up of idiots just like them...

This is just weird. I didn't even tell family when I was in labour, why would you expect to know that about a complete stranger...?

After begrudgingly watching the last vlog.. to all the people here who are pregnant/trying etc you do not need all this expensive fancy stuff these people are showing off - that they haven't even paid for.
Quite frankly a baby doesn't care what a cot looks like or how much it cost. (Mine was a £60 one from Mothercare) or how expensive the clothes are. Save yourself the pain because when you have a favourite baby grow and it has s*** stains on there from a nappy explosion, it's devastating 😂

We should do this, less pennies in their grasping fists then too

That’s what I do now, I’ve had ad blocker on my browser for ages so didn’t watch their ads...
but when I want to watch Sophie and Dave I just go to invidious instead of YouTube... I don’t have an account or anything as I only watch them through it as I can’t stand to give them a penny more!

Omg the birth vlog will be insufferable!! They will probably click bait the hell out of it too.

They may have all this fancy pants cot and pram but underneath they don't have the faintest idea how to look after a baby. You can tell by Sophie's face at Dave showing her the gifted scratch mits (have they bought anything themselves for this baby?)

This 100%

When I had my son my cot was second hand with a new mattress, second hand playpen, new buggy/prom combo but was really cheap on eBay.

Clothes were a mix of Asda and Primark, once they were cute I didn’t care and as Stanley said, the tit explosions make you die inside whether it’s designer or not.

We've got a snuzpod and snuzkot. I definitely wouldn't buy a snuzpod again, now we've used it I think some of the cheaper alternatives are actually better. My husband was definitely sucked in by the look of it.

I love our snuzkot though because it is bright orange and goes so nice in the nursery! It was definitely not worth the extra cost though, a cheaper alternative would do the same job.

We both work and have savings in the bank so we could justify spending the extra money but it definitely wasn't necessary. We got caught up in the excitement of being first time parents when shopping.
