My comment is still up at the moment, but I think it's more hidden as it's a reply to someone else's comment.
Just been reading through the comments again. I dont think any of us are actually 'fatphobic'. Yes we talk about Dave being fat because Dave goes on and on about his weight/working out/eating habits and only seems to be getting bigger.
It does seem however that more people are coming over to read here and find out how them pleading poverty has resulted in them being able to shop at Zara and Next for essential items you can find much cheaper. When Sophie said about Barney having boxes of things to be unpacked, did they have this stuff while crying to the camera about having nothing?

Nah I reckon they knew they'd be a sell out. Especially after saying they would donate to Tommy's too, they knew people would have been eager to buy them.

Yes they made a tidy sum but that's their viewer's money that has made all this happen. Honestly they really should have been more sensitive on what they purchased with it (expensive Disney prints are not an essential for a baby!)

I think a majority of people bought the pins because they wanted to give something for Barney, and it's understandable that questions are now being asked after seeing Sophie showing expensive home products on their vlogs.

Yeah that rubbed me up the wrong way. It was like a subtle dig to us here because we thought they had nothing for Barney. Wonder why that was? Oh yeah cause that's what they wanted everyone to think. Another fraudulent act by them, can they get any lower?

Also, why is sophie saying "omg don't look" when she showed her bump? Noticed it a few times now. It's not a food baby or fat fgs. A lot of woman would give anything for a pregnant belly, it's so disrespectful. Followed by Dave's "oh you look beautiful" 🤢🤢
 
I saw on one of his insta comments that Dave was going to ‘tell Barney every day that he made those chest of drawers for him’. Jesus. How unaccomplished do you have to be at life that that is your one shining moment? He seriously has provided nothing for this child. We all know is was likely Sophie that masterminded the whole pin sale thing too, so he can’t even say he had a hand in providing the £10k.

That’s reminded me, I must tell my son when he wakes up that I made our Ikea chest of drawers for him too. And the Kallax.

What a plank! My maternal grandfather was a carpenter by trade and a very skilled one. He MADE a chest of drawers and a child size replica dresser that are still in the family.
Dave you put it together...over 4 days...nothing to be proud of. Didn’t even work to pay for it yourself.

the only thing you’ve made is that baby and even that nobody wants to think too deeply into...

Dave's what, 35? 36? It comes across as if he's never built anything before now. Why would you want to tell your child everyday you've built some IKEA furniture. I actually have no words...

He just seems like the type of person who wants a thank you and recognition for doing something that other people wouldn’t bat an an eyelid at doing daily.
But we have to remember that this is the guy who has ridden off the coattails of Sophie since her channel began getting big. He would be nothing without her. It’s only because she started the Sophie and Dave channel did he even start to get a following. It’s not as if he’s a successful west end star. He was a stand in at best. But through her, he’s gained a bit of a following and his ego has exploded. But still he does nothing to support this really, he doesn’t even help edit the vlogs!
 
He probably now thinks he’s done his bit. I wouldn’t be surprised if he just stood back and let Sophie’s family do all the heavy lifting when they moved the furniture in.
He seems like one of those annoying people who pretend like they know every manly thing, standing over someone’s shoulder and giving ‘advice’. But couldn’t do any of it himself. I feel it’s similar to the black lives matter stuff he’s been posting. It’s all well and good posting stuff on insta (ie doing the bare minimum) but when push comes to shove hasn’t done anything to help the cause and likely never will. For him it’s all to save face and look like the hero and the good guy.
 
Looks like they’ve got a Doona car seat and Isofix base under the bench in the new house in the new vlog today. Glad they’re finally spending some of that pin money on that poor child.

I do have to say something nice though- I like that their family all pass on sofas etc that’s good. House is coming along a bit now....but bye bye gym. That was NEVER going to take off, soz Dave 😂 a man who puts a roast before a moving day is not a gym man.
