I don’t get why they are paying out for blinds ect...I’m now lucky enough to own my house, but when we rented the landlord supplied blinds for the house we rented?...is this usual?Just a thought, they said that they still don't have blinds for the kitchen (as the money will either go on the blinds or the pump), yet they want to go to Disney next year Guess the 'Flamily' will pay for it when the pin comes out?
We’ve said the same. Surely there would at the bare minimum be curtain rails and curtains but there doesn’t seem to be anything.I don’t get why they are paying out for blinds ect...I’m now lucky enough to own my house, but when we rented the landlord supplied blinds for the house we rented?...is this usual?

Dave said he has a good relationship with food
I've said it before and I'll say it again, everything about them renting that house was dodgy AF. The timing, the money, the no blinds, it doesn't add up and we've never got to the bottom of it. Is it one of Sophie's extended family who is renting it to them? Because it sure as hell is nothing like a normal rental.I don't understand a rented property not having blinds and making the tenants buy them. When they move out are they going to take them with them? Seems very odd.
I've bought curtains before when I rented as a student but at least that's not expensive and easy to take with you.

I've looked in the areas where I think they've moved to and I can't find any bungalows that look like it, even if it's been let you should still be able to find it on rightmove!I think you could be right here. Did anyone find it on Rightmove in the end?

It was all very strange. Even the acceptance of a dog isn’t guaranteed so surprised they found somewhere that’s so nice so quicklyI've said it before and I'll say it again, everything about them renting that house was dodgy AF. Particularly when everywhere else they'd looked at had (sensibly) told them to do one.It was all very strange. Even the acceptance of a dog isn’t guaranteed so surprised they found somewhere that’s so nice so quickly
Hey Sophie Sad Face, I have an idea. If you can't afford blinds, Dave could always GET A JOB. I know it's a weird suggestion but it might be worth a try

They must have used the £10k to pay 6 months rent up front, and the landlord took it to save the hassle of listing it, and made his money back from the reno straight away He’ll be in a nasty shock when they move out as they have ran out of money, can’t pay the rest of the rent and chip has ruined most of the houseIt might never have been listed though. They said the estate agent told them about it and they went to view it while it was still being renovated so they may have signed a contract before it even made it to Rightmove.
It still doesn't add up though...
