Me too but I hope for their sake they atleast are investing or have a plan for a rainy day because they definitely have expiring dates

as a woman I’m sure she finds this news deeply upsetting no doubt but like ugh idk it’s such a pattern with her to share one measly post with a 💔 then go back to posting her extravagant life

Just by her posting that is bringing attention to it to some people who may not have heard the news or understand the significance of it. I think youre expecting too much from her to post resources.

But then I’ve been reading and researching ways we can help etc but haven’t posted about it once. it’s a bit of a catch 22- if she posts about it, it’s not done in the ‘right’ way. if she doesn’t post about it, she’s ‘not using her platform to her potential’. It was the same around BLM, they posted quite a few resources and fundraisers and people still had a go

Tbh I’m not saying don’t post but its really not that hard to post some links, I’ve seen countless other influencers doing it it. That’s what I mean by resources. The reason I’m so meh about cinzia posting in this manner is because it’s a pattern with her to post one small aesthetic post about these really important issues that actually adds nothing to the convo and then she just goes back to normal programming. Hence why to me it is insincere when a lot of these influencers get involved in these conversations and people are kidding themselves a bit to think that they’re reposting these things half the time for anything more than furthering their image.

Tbh I’m so over people in the U.K. speaking about how terrible this issue is because I live in Northern Ireland and we had ZERO abortion rights and anytime we tried to fight for it people in the rest of the U.K. turned a blind eye to it and didn’t give af. They care so much about it happening to Americans but they didn’t care when it was right on their doorstep, miss me with the clownery. ( I’m speaking in general terms here btw not about cinzia alone lol)

just me expressing that it’s corny to only care about an issue when it’s happening in a country you deem relevant or trendy. UsingCinzia just an example, she didn’t speak up when it happened in Poland/Mexico etc so why when it’s Americans does she feel the need. That’s where she gets her matcha lattes and goes on her LA hikes therefore they’re worthy of some sympathy from her and a story post lol? Sorry if I come off heated it’s just something I care about a lot haha. You can certainly sympathise with America it’s so truly awful but like don’t pick and choose which countries and when you’re gonna care

edit: also I don’t want to start a heavy debate on this equally heavy issue haha all I’m trying to express is the performative activism of people like cinzia
