Yeah I 100% do not believe there have been proper walks this whole time. With how much Sofie posts on social media, and all the Hank updates, she really wants us to believe there wouldn’t have been multiple stories about each walk ... or “walk attempts” since they always seem to get cut short.
I think when they say “I don’t leave the house EXCEPT FOR DOG WALKS OBVIOUSLY” she’s really meaning letting Hank out in the back garden, not actual walks.

I’ve not owned dogs so correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t this a situation that the longer Hank goes on like this, not being properly acclimatised to the walks that apparently make him so anxious, the worse it will be to normalise it for him?

yeah definitely, dogs really need to be trained, they are not like cats who you can just basically leave and they will look after themselves. I was watching a segment on this morning with a vet saying how dog owners need to be really careful after lockdown as dogs won't be used to socialising and they can become aggressive with other dogs/new people, I think after a certain time if a dog isn't properly socialised it becomes extremely difficult. I think she will just end up giving it to an animal shelter tbh

exactly. Dogs can get anxious! Of course they can. But they need walks, and they thrive on routine. So you keep going, you go as far as you can and keep pushing a bit at a time and eventually they get into the habit. She’s had him a good few months now and if she’s still struggling to go even a short distance with him that suggests he still isn’t used to it. I don’t think she’s putting the necessary work in.
 
I had an elderly rescue dog who was anxious as duck but that literally meant I didn't take him to the dog park or down main roads. He still massively enjoyed our quiet exploratory walks. They will only overcome it with practice anyway. Unfortunately dogs can't have therapy.

Also is her neighbourhood so unsafe she can't walk in the morning or day time?!
 
I love her body positivity, but I hate how self aggrandising she is. I don’t like that she is constantly asking people to support her, but has little interaction with her supporters. I’m really getting over ‘influencers’ with this kind of attitude 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Yeppp!! They love their free stuff! Their followers tend not to matter to them for anything but cash flow 🤦‍♀️
 
Glad I found this thread. I followed her after seeing some of her stand up which I thought was really funny but soon realised she’s completely self-involved, narcissistic, lazy and really cannot accept other people have an opinion different to hers.
I think her mental health would be a hell of a lot better if she got off social media for a few hours a day, washed, got out the house and then cleaned/sorted her flat!
Her size or her sexual or gender identity are inconsequential to me but I can’t abide the self-obsessive wallowing and blaming trauma for laziness. Her videos of her taking her meds as well. *cringe*..can she not doing anything without it being on Instagram??
Her hypocrisy as well fishing for #influencer work 😣
And that poor dog! Why oh why would you get a dog if you can hardly look after yourself?! If she still has that poor dog this time next year I’ll be amazed! They’ll definitely be a long written post about how she couldn’t meet his “complex needs” when he just needs to be walked , socialised & trained properly. So irresponsible!
