Could June’s friend what reads here ask please ask June to share details of the search-parties for Máire Ní Fhatharta, a fellow sea-swimmer who has been missing in the Bay since 12 Nov?
I know June lit a helpful candle one night, but as a fellow sea-swimmer, and more importantly a fellow life-long resident of the Atlantic coast, it would be a great kindness to the Uí Fhatharta family.
If she comes ashore it’ll likely be over the coming weeks.

Thank God, and search and rescue esp R115, Máire Úna was found on Friday afternoon before the red alert kicked in. There was an overwhelming response to her family’s GoFundMe to support the search, kindly shared by others.
She and Johnny Duhan were practiced sea swimmers, but it goes to show how dangerous Galway Bay and the Atlantic can be, it can turn on a sixpence.
My dad grew up on the shores of Galway Bay and nearly got swept out when he was a teenager, so he and my uncles drilled respect for the sea into us kids.

Surely she can still go along, once she's up to it, and meet 'her community' and just not get her feet wet? I'm sure her community will have a rota made up for visiting their leader at home anyway, since they all depend on her soooo much and the community will breakdown without her input 🤣

I noticed too she's no filter on today, and she usually nearly always has one on in the car . She's building up the 'poor June' content now for maximum sympathy and freebies when she's in hospital and recovering after the operation.
