What is sad is that he was texting with his mom then just stopped. She called around to see if someone could go check on him and Gabe went the next morning. Apparently the roommates heard a pop but didn’t associate it with gunfire so they didn’t go check. How someone ca. mistake a gunshot for nothing is beyond me. My question is where was Janelle that she had to call others to see if someone could check on him? I don’t think I could have waited all night.

Apparently she now lives in North Carolina. Garrison was in Arizona. So she needed someone closer to check on him.
I don't understand why his housemates didn't check on him. Maybe he used a silencer....
Apparently his funeral was held on Saturday

She might have been at Maddisons, she seems to be there a lot. Kody was supposed to go with Gabe to check on him and ended up refusing to go, so he let Gabe find Garrison on his own. I believe Kody turned up when Gabe rang him. I don't think anyone can be blamed.

I read that Gabe initially went on his own to Garrison's home. Then he went to get Kody who wouldn't come back with him.

So many rumours flying around, it is hard to know what to believe.
It would be awful if all this gets filmed, but I'm sure there'd be plenty who would watch

Yep, didn’t know she was in NC, the delay between the shows and now is pretty big, so I hadn’t heard she had moved. Christine and Meri are more open on social media about where they are, Janelle not so much, so it’s harder to piece together. It would make sense now that Savannah has graduated. I wasn’t blaming Janelle, just sad to know she wasn’t in a position to get to him as fast as she probably wanted to. With the whole core family so spread out now, it feels like he just didn’t have the support he needed in the time he needed it the most. It’s a tragedy all the way around.

Some of his last text messages were to TLC producers/staff that he had gotten to know well through the years.
If they do tape it, it will be because Kody insists, because you know he will want to twist it that his son had mental issues and nothing is Kodys fault….which is complete bullshit….Kody only looks for a payday and to make himself look like he’s never the problem in any of his families problems. He capitalizes off of everyone else’s pain. Look at Meri, he wouldn’t tell her to leave because he knew it would create episodes people would turn into “look how crappy I treat Meri, but she sticks around!!”
He’s awful.

I wouldn’t trust WOACB as far as I could through her. She’s regularly sued due to defamation and she’s a tit mother as well as frequently drunk! She has no sources it’s just a money making thing for her.

Same…… somethings always felt a bit off. Then on the day of Garrison’s passing it was rumoured he’d passed by a Facebook group. I then saw it on Reddit and at that point the general consensus was ‘let’s wait until the family confirm’.

Someone who is subscribed to Mykeltis Patreon said she came online, was bawling and said ‘there’s been an accident I can’t be online just now’ which effectively confirmed the news.

Maybe half an hour to an hour after Janelle formally posted on Instagram.

Why did she do that?

Now she says her and her brother weren’t that close and she wishes she knew him better. It’s reallly bizarre behaviour.

How could she say she barely knew him, they grew up in the same house and I’m sure they were teenagers when they moved to Vegas. I can’t stand Mykelti, she’s one of the worst kids, she’s an attention seever.

Her most recent video is talking about how she is just going to live her life like he would have wanted her to. If she wasn’t close to him as she claims how does she know that’s what he would have wanted? Crazy!

It’s funny to me that 3 of Christine’s kids are fame seekers, Mykelti and to some extent Gewn and Paedon. Mykelti and Tony are awful, she also likes Robyn, so that says a lot about her.
I won’t be surprised if she cashes in on Garrison‘s death.

Her and Robyn’s relationship makes me feel very uneasy. Robyn is a truly awful person.

Just my opinion but Janelle’s children a lot more interesting and dynamic as individuals. My heart breaks for Gabe. He needs to be protected at all costs at the moment.

I agree, Janelle's children seem unproblematic (not sure if that's the right word) and just well adjusted. I know Christine helped to bring them up and I think she's great, but I think Janelle is more grounded. I feel so sorry for Gabe, I just think he was the worst person to find Garrison as he seems so sensitive.

I agree, the episode when his Dad phoned to complain about his Covid symptoms on Gabe’s birthday tugged at my heartstrings.
He just seemed broken.
Then we had the Covid rules and they tried to reconcile with Kody on the basis of ‘agree to disagree’ and he wouldn’t have it.
I think Gabe and Garrison just wanted their Dad back but felt helpless in the situation where they’d have to sacrifice their opinions, independent thought and pride in order to do it.
