Episode 2. That's what made me realise how different they are now too. It's a shame.

I thought that too, the other family all lived under the same roof and seemed so happy and united whereas the browns were just bickering and you could feel the tension with them. It was awkward and embarrassing at times! I really feel bad for merri, she deserves to be with someone who loves her and will give her that affection but she doesn’t seem to want to leave kody. I wonder if any of them left if he would look for a new wife?
It was interesting watching the without a crystal ball videos, the background with Christine and Robyn, it all makes sense how Christine is so super insecure. I actually really like Christine now after watching those videos, I feel like I understand her a lot more now! And sobbin Robyn 🤣

I’d bet money that Kody would look for another wife, he sounds like he wants to just keep making babies forever 🤢😂

I love when she calls her Sobbin Robyn, it’s so apt 😂
 
Thanks to this thread i checked my recordings and have binged 3 episodes of the new season (what else is lockdown annual leave for)

they are all clearly so unhappy, Janelle seems the least bothered,meri checked out years ago, Christine is desperate to remain with Cody (or seemed to be) and Robyn was the favourite and is now having Cody kick back a little .

Anyway the point I was going to make is that I’m ruining it for myself because the US is a few weeks ahead of us so I’m seeing WACB talk about stuff then seeing it on SW weeks later. I’ve no self control 🙄😂
 
I was disappointed to find you can only watch 1 week ahead on Discovery +. I was hoping to binge the whole series
 
Ohhh I watched this years ago and thought it was fabulous haha good to know it's on discovery plus as it used to be on Netflix but got removed so I've only seen up to when Solomon was born!
 
What was that all about with Robyn, saying she had a dream about a dark haired little boy and saying she needs to make sure all her babies are here with her?! She will be pregnant soon if not already I’m sure
 
Just watching the latest episode and Kody asking Ysabel to put off her surgery! I have never wanted to punch a man so much in all my life! Seriously that’s your daughter who is in chronic pain and you are asking her to not have life changing surgery for you to be able to swan about between your different houses! I HATE HIM SO MUCH!
 
Kody is such an arse! God he makes me mad. He just seems sooooo over it now. I think he wants out and if any of the wives said they did too he wouldn’t hesitate to end it all. I felt so awful for merri on their anniversary trip, he was so cold and switched off towards her. She is just so desperate for love or affection from him.
 
Yeah I completely agree. He wants out but their religion won’t allow him a divorce (I believe?) but apparently he has told Meri he doesn’t love her and if she wants to leave she is free to go. He just doesn’t want to be “the bad guy” he would rather just make their lives so miserable they have no other choice but to leave.

I just don’t get why these women don’t call him out on his crappy behaviour?

I get that Meri feels like she made a commitment to the marriage but marriage is 2 people he needs to commit as well - she is just exisiting in life at the moment. Like the irony of her “every hour should be happy hour” t-shirt while telling Christine to just look at the mountains was not lost on me.
 
I think the only one he really cares about is Robyn. I feel quite mixed towards her, I used to really like her but I’ve kind of had my eyes opened to how she is treated different and maybe instigates a lot of things. I really like merri and I wish she would leave and find someone tho gives her the love and attention she craves. I really hope Christine moves back to Utah, it’s obviously where her heart is. I feel bad for the kids of the family tho, they have moved about so much and it must be tough trying to make friends

It was really sad when Christine said some of her children have experienced bullying because their parents choose to live that lifestyle.
