When Kody pitched the show to TLC, he wanted it to portray this lovely, happy poly family that was just trying to be together and happy.
But as the seasons continued, we got to see that many everything was a sweet and happy.
Now with Christine finished with the whole thing, she is revealing a more honest view of the family.
Christine comes from a very prominent family in their religion and that's what attracted Kody to her. It was very sad to now hear that Christine thought it was a love match, and now Kody is trying to say he was confused.
It was good to see Christine stand up to him and not allow him to gaslight her with his lies.

Well Kody just makes my blood boil 😡

He’s horrible to Christine and he just doesn’t get why she would want to leave or why she wouldn’t stay in a “marriage” without intimacy

He made her promise that she wouldn’t get a “greedy” boyfriend who would take all his money 💰 🙄🙄
Also he couldn’t understand why Christine was saying he wasn’t there for her when he visits every 6 days 🙄

I’m so glad Christine has left and wish her some happiness in her life that she deserves
 
Kody needs to rewatch previous series, take notes, memorise them, then apologise to people. The last series where Robyn was talking to her kids about others not following all the rules to the letter, and the kids reaction made me angry too.
As for the whole Kody and Ysabel’s surgery situation too. Your daughter needed you Kody, but oh no Robyn said your kids would cope not seeing you. Argh!!
 
Kody just makes my blood boil , he takes no responsibility and is completely narcissistic. Even he's kids have matured past him. I'm so glad Christine left I wish someone would actually just load up and tell him to grow up. Jangle will never leave him, she's happy with having her own life and him popping by to do a few chores every now and then. Meri won't let him go ever.

I have to admit I like Meri! I don’t want to but just can’t help myself. She gave up a lot for Robyn and her older children to have security and Kody seems to have forgotten that. Luckily she seems to have a good life without him. I’ve never seen anyone cry as much as Robyn last series! Menopausal methinks!!

Yeah meri was my absolute favorite for several seasons, I'm sure they edit it in a way that makes her look a certain way. But she definitely seemed to live an independent life with her work and the Inn.

I'm currently watching episode 1, omg this conversation between Christine and kody!! Actual honesty for a change!! Well at least in Christine's part, all the usual gaslighting from kody.

Just watched episode 1

Kody is awful. He turns everything around onto christine and you can tell she's just done. Then when he realises gaslighting isnt working he pulls the "be an adult" card. I dont think I've ever heard ANYONE use that line who isn't being a big bloody baby!

He wants her to stay for the kids
He wants her to stay incase he loses his money

At no point does he consider her feelings. Its all about him!

He got really nasty when he stopped himself going further about cooking and cleaning too!

Hes not come out of this well at all, she's doing the best thing. Leave him with sobbing robyn..

Also does she have a thyroid thing? Very fat neck! Couldn't take my eyes off it
