Yeah, I think it's how she tries to paint it to the world, that she's somehow much happier than women in a relationship having a baby (& to be clear not saying two parent families are happier, I'm pointing out she has made a sweeping assumption about couples having babies being unhappy!) And her and Darragh are best friends despite knowing each other exactly a year. It's not weird or awful to let the baby see her dad, but its definitely not what Siobh imagined or thought it was going to be like

I don't think the whole co-parenting issue is a big deal happens all the time.

For me it's her classic twist on it..."we',re two friends raising a child" however as soon as Canal was old enough for Ned it has been strict overnights only. No more zoo dates or him staying over 😂

I dunno I feel like there has been a cooling off between them. A few too many misunderstandings that have led Neddie to set things in stone and have clear nights with the baby. The "family dates" with the three if them are non existent now.

My theory is that Siobhan has been a psycho to him or about family events and it's now clear that Siobhan is not family 😁

If Mammy Ned and Sister Ned ever feel like letting off some steam we are fabulous listeners here on tattle 😂😂😂😂

Neds family or friends please join and tell us the other side of the story. We would all love to hear what it's really like dealing with her.

Yet when she gets the evening and night to herself she doesn’t know what she ‘should’ do.
Does she have ADHD? She’s all over the shop. Most new mothers are but she’s actually got some free time in which to plan something. The average new mum would schedule a bath, early night and a full night’s sleep, yet she’s banging on about going to jiu jitsu two days in a row?
She’s really struggling with adapting to her new life.
She’s physically doing it BUT her head hasn’t caught up yet. She still thinks she can workout every day and she can’t understand how her life has changed so much. She’s miserable. It takes at least a year to get used to your first baby- there are enormous lifestyle changes -hormonal- physical- and mental changes. You have to admit that for the next 18 years you will come second not first. There are enormous sacrifices that you make because suddenly your life isn’t all about you any more. She’s so self absorbed that she can’t actually understand how the baby doesn’t “slot in” with her life.

I think people get triggered by pisstakes that only apply to Shiv. Please don't!! She is a very unique individual in many ways. There is nothing wrong with being a single parent. All those ladies who walk this road and do the best by their child are admirable.

Shiv is world apart in everything. She is all about the instagram optics. Cadhlas needs will always come second to that. We are all on planet earth while Shiv is on Pluto.

my comment about handing baby over to a stranger is based on not following him, the only things i know about nedders is he enjoys expensive margs, baby gap and ONS.

Where as Shivs tells the world everything. I really don't care how parents parent, as long as they actually parent and put the child's well being first. Unfortunately her ego and insta life will always be first

I could Google but so many of you are well-informed.
is there a Housing Benefit system in Ireland if Shivs was short of a fee bob for her rent?

A low income family can apply for HAP ( housing assistance payment ) but it's extremely difficult to find anywhere to rent here at the moment so landlords can pick and choose who they rent to. It's illegal to refuse to take a hap applicant but the demand is so high they don't want hap applications and don't take them.

There's also some sort of hardship payment if you are struggling but afaik it's a one off payment.
