She's done with that. That whole thing was a phase that got out of hand. She went on a few holidays and thought oh wow this is great and then turned her life into a long gap year while doing a Bali - Dublin - Portugal loop while not being happy in any of those places. She is only delighted to have an excuse to be back home.

Back in 2017 she said she was a homebird and missed home when she was away. Her downfall was creating this fake life that she thought she had to maintain. She was in Bali missing home, in Portugal feeling out of place, in Dublin thinking she had to leave again cause she was supposed to be living differently. This is why she was always looking forward - she wasn't at peace anywhere.

That is my theory anyway.

My theory is she was off her tits on acid or something else the whole time in Bali trying to keep up with the 20 year olds and that other pack of useless layabouts Becca and Sinead.

But she still doesn't know who she is or what she wants or where to base herself which is something people have figured out in their mid 30s.

some day, many years from now. I will be an old lady, rocking on my chair as I gaze over my beloved grandchildren and enjoy a moment of quiet reflection, I'll wonder about life, about the silliness of the stresses we let control us, the pressure we put on ourselves, the way in the end nothing matters but family. I'll wonder how we wasted so many hours on instagram on tattle, I'll wonder how we let technology turn us into trolls, but more importantly and pressingly, until I take my final breath I will wonder WHAT HAPPENED IN WEXICO??!!!!

Not sure about the wiki button but I don’t think this thread is attached to her other threads. There is no button to click “Siobh.ohagan Threads” and it’s not in the list of them either.
