Are both the sisters flying in and out to use the Irish Health care system?
If Ned had any interest at all in Shiv and sprog he would do the gentlemanly thing and get a flight over to help her bring her luggage back.
#justsayin’
Maybe he is taking her to carton house… hence the excited tagging?!?!
Is booking multiple flights with heavy luggage the most effective way of bringing your shite home?? Or is this part of living differently?
She’s probably writing off the invoices as business expenses as we speak, that’s the reason for all the flights she will say it’s going back and fourth for businessWould it not be far more sensible for Ned, or her Da or indeed her, to hire a van and drive? I know it’s a long way and a crappy ferry crossing but, it’s all done in one go.
Is she that desperate for a flight that she is going London to Dublin multiple times a week???
Actually, I already know the answer to that, yes, she very much is!!!
It's a long time ago now, but when I moved to London, I filled up my car and got the ferry over. A few days later, two family members followed on another ferry with the remainder of my stuff in the back of a seven-seater with the back seats down. It was all done and dusted in two carloads. No airports, no suitcases. Just a bit of practicality and common sense.Would it not be far more sensible for Ned, or her Da or indeed her, to hire a van and drive? I know it’s a long way and a crappy ferry crossing, but, it’s all done in one go.

Every time I see something like that I always think of David in Schitts Creek where he’s writing off everything for his business and dosnt understand how it worksShe’s probably writing off the invoices as business expenses as we speak, that’s the reason for all the flights she will say it’s going back and fourth for business
Would you want to be trapped in a car with her? Let her lug her crap herselfWould it not be far more sensible for Ned, or her Da or indeed her, to hire a van and drive? I know it’s a long way and a crappy ferry crossing but, it’s all done in one go.

I know people are saying about the car but what does she realistically own ? When I moved home from London I'd two checked bags and my carry on
Like I wasn't bringing furniture back as I'd been renting, gave cutlery or dishware away, sold the tv...I don't really get what she possibly has over there after less than a year to bring home that wouldn't fit in 2 suitcases and a carry on
I honestly can’t tell anymore if she wrote this and actually sent it out to her email list as a sales tool or you got bored and wrote a satire email spronkled with ShivismsNew E-mail In which Shiv confirms yet again that the Oven DOES NOT work
Subject :“I’m not seeing much progress?”
Am I mad to tell you that one of the things I hear often from clients after a few weeks doing The Furnace is:
“I’m not seeing much progress”
So why am I telling you this?
Surely I want to tell you that my clients are making amazing progress after a couple of weeks?
But I think it’s important to share because this attitude is actually what *prevents* them getting the progress that they really want.
The first thing I reply is:
“Compared to what?”
When we really dig deep on what “much” really means to them, they are usually comparing it to a diet that might have worked before in the short term, or at the expense of their health and/or social life.
In fact, if they were seeing really fast progress, I would probably suggest slowing down, as rapid fat loss can be detrimental to health and unsustainable.
That way, they can easily make it through the 12 weeks and beyond without even feeling like they are on a a diet - and that’s when sustainable fat loss occurs.
The other thing that we consider, is their concept of “progress”.
How are we managing progress to their goal?
If fat loss or aesthetics is their goal, perhaps they are looking at the scales instead of measurements or pictures.
If health and happiness is their goal, perhaps they are looking at measurements instead of journalling on the mental freedom they have from dieting hard, or all the things they’ve been doing to enjoy themselves.
Of course, if they still think they aren’t seeing much progress, then we will look at what to add in to their lifestyle (before sacrificing things) to help towards their goals.
And then, if they do need to reduce their calories - then we help them be clear on their values and what would be needed and let them decide what action they would like to take.
It is then up to the client to decide what to do. I want them making mindful and informed decisions.
