Setting the camera up specifically to do that ‘candid’ dancing is so fuckin embarrassing😭 late 100% thinks that she is the life and soul of every social interaction
It looked like she was very uncomfortable and everyone else took a video so she uncomfortably joined (and then obviously recorded because siobhan). I cringed to my oh furnace core

Very appropriate spot late tonight 🤣🤣🤣

I thought the same. She has a lot of back fat for a "PT". Strong upper core my arse.

Why do nearly all the women wear those horrible skintight clothes? Sinéad looks like she has a kangaroo pouch.
I think she's in good shape - the type that's sustainable and doesn't involve losing your period/starving/getting osteoporosis. It's easy to forget that what we see abs and leanness and don't know the reality behind it. Only some are genetically gifted enough to not suffer for that look.

But couldn't agree more about the clothes. Think those outfits do nothing for most of them. One upside is that I know I'll never be buying MyProtein clothing or most of what she promotes. I want my gear to make me look better, not worse! They all have guts in those shorts, and they're slim girls. Decent clothing and they'd look much better

I have one pair of my protein leggings and they made me look like I had a massive gut, I think it was the way the elastic sat on the waistband. I wouldn't carry much weight around my stomach either but I remember being really upset looking at it at the time. Completely agree they're all in very good shape, most of the myprotein gear rarely makes anyone look good.

Verification! And it's crazy - even cheap Amazon yoga leggings (have recently discovered CRZ) know that a good waistband is important and pretty basic. It's what the expensive companies have made their money on - making you look better and not worse.

I agree but is she healthy? Her lifestyle is the classic burn the candles at both end, and I don't see it as healthy or sustainable.

I can't get over eating out all the time, I know she's getting "healthy" meals but restaurants cool with a lot of oil, butter, salt etc.

I've noticed she seems to be conscious about her fitness levels lately, every post always seems to have a caveat..."I don't lift weights anymore, I was practicing nasal breathing that's why I ran slow". Instagram is full of people doing incredible fetes of strength and fitness so can see how it can drive insecurities.

What I do laugh at is Operation Transformation is promoting the exact same thing that the Furnace is. It is a goal oriented show with the aim of establishing life long eating habits. This whole you don't need to diet culture is a bit stupid as it doesn't apply to the whole population. The contestants are generally obese with worrying health signals pointing towards severe health conditions, so they obviously need to loose weight, that hsluld be common sense.

Dieting to get abs for image is a different type of dieting and I agree we don't need to do that.

Lastly, if the furnace isn't a diet program why do you need a weekly check-in spreadsheet tracking measurements?

I don't think she's particularly healthy, but get that idea from watching her...not from how she looks. Lots are skinny and look "healthy" because they smoke 40 a day and are compulsive exercisers or whatever.

I've decided I'd hate to be some fitness influencer! She seems kind of fittish but not outstanding, and is now stuck trying to justify and excuse everything. Even though in population terms she's beyond the majority, obviously. It's so much easier when it doesn't matter and you're just being active because you want to be.

And exactly re OT! Completely agree. Also doubt she has a clue re training and diet for the obese client. She's just on whatever bandwagon seems most lucrative.

@Smurfette crz are amazing! I have a few different pairs now and they're excellent quality for the price. I got 3 pairs of Myprotein once and all went back- primark are better quality! The fabric was terrible and the style of them all made me a funny shape??
Definitely won't be tempted to buy them then!
Can't remember where I saw the CRZ recommendation (some Amazon finds article I think) but I'm so happy with them too! Have various versions - some light and some more compression - and all are great. Fab range of colours and they wash perfectly too.
