Does anyone know what the actually sitch is with the family? I find it incredibly strange. Does Shiv think it’s not girl boss enough to stay in her teenage bedroom for a few nites a year? Do they all dislike eachother? Do the parents just dislike her? I have 3 kids so obviously it’s not as easy for me to stay “home home” when I’m back but whenever I get back solo I would always 100% stay with my mother. I find it all bizarre. Fairly sure James wanker Smith even stays in his family home when he’s back there.

It’s very odd. When I lived away there would’ve been war if I didn’t stay with the family when I came home. Serviced apartments in GCD are expensive too but she needs to be in the city centre for hot girl winter I guess, and to feel less knob like wandering around talking into her phone

I'd guess the family are in the don't approve of her way of living camp and perhaps even are mad at her for travelling so soon after leaving just for content.

At the same time, they will let her bring them to Bordeaux and she gets to use them for content and brag that she paid.

I'd say the reasons for her not staying at home might be her not wanting to do the shite talking Instagram bullshit in front of her family (because she lies through her teeth about everything), and can't be caught out. She clearly hates talking into the phone around Swords, because I'd say people are wise to her shite. Then having to live the flash lifestyle of slick apartment, centre of town so close to bars etc. She's also more likely to meet up with other influencers in town, if she's nearby, so she can hang around with 20-odd year olds and play influencer easily.
