What pyramid scheme is she a part of?

I'm not saying she definitely is part of a pyramid scheme, but the whole thing screams MLM to me, anyone else??

Had a quick google last night of Sam Ovens and see the word "scam" a lot but also people backing him.
Came across one guy called James Kemp who had a video bigging up Sam Ovens saying how he helped him quit his corporate job and move to Bali... it all sounded too familiar!!

Also, I genuinely think most of her followers "hate follow" her. It doesn't take long to see through her bullshit and it's addictive watching someone being such a hypocrite!

Yeah - Ive also thought it was some sort of franchise or MLM. Just a feeling I have about it, not based on any expertise in this area.
Update some template with your own brand and sell on.

I don't see how it's an MLM? She's not selling any products/supplements, and noone is encouraged to take on 'franchise-like' versions of the Furnace?
She has created a mish-mash program copying parts from other pt/coaches successful programmes (sometimes literally copying and pasting as has been seen) and has developed it into a cash cow.

Her PT training course is one that can be done by other course providers, only she charges more for it and stuck a fancy name on it- it's still just a Level 3 Diploma in Fitness Instructing and Personal Training.

Yep. My instinctive reaction to the T&Cs was that it was just a very sloppy mistake. She chose someone incredibly successful, copied their T&Cs and didn’t bother to proofread. A bit like the recipes not being converted from imperial to metric.

I don’t know if it’s an MLM or pyramid scheme per say, but the business model for most big “fitness people” is the same and it’s hard to see if it’s really ethical.
1. Person 1 (Siobh/James Smith) builds a following for whatever reason.
2. Set up shop online coaching. James smith has his own app etc. Siobh seems to have bought a white label website to put her coaching on. Is that white labelled site given or sold by some business-guru promising “fit pros” a six figure income? (These gurus are everywhere btw).
3. Get too big on IG to really coach your own clients anymore. Hire other coaches who work under your name.
4. Move to a poor country to really profit out of your income and “live your best life”.
5. Either sell your services as a business coach to coach others to do the same (did siobh or Becca say they were doing this recently?); or sell on a PT course that you didn’t write.

I don’t know if it’s a pyramid BUT I don’t know if it’s truly ethical business as 1. People are paying for a name who never actually trains them and 2. The coaches who work for them are somewhat prevented from being names in their own right? I also think anyone can do better than white labelling websites and PT courses and selling on.

I’m pretty sure she has spoken out against pyramid schemes /MLMs in the past? Surely she wouldn’t do that if her own model was one.
Not if she’s brainwashed herself and doesn’t think her thing is an MLM!

It’s not a typical one but she’s managed by people in England, she’s the face of a cookie cutter programe. She enlists her clients to work for her so that she can lap it up.

@Fitfan47 totally agree they all seem to follow the same 'formula', but that's the same in every industry unfortunately. Smaller businesses see how a larger one has instigated it's growth online and IRL and follow in their footsteps. That's how it goes- you learn from others successes and mistakes.

MUA's are reknowned for bringing out their 'own label' line of products that they bullshit they've been an integral part of developing when they are in fact white label chinese crap. But others with huge followings get away with it so they think why not me.

Unfortunately there'll always be gullible eejits with more money than sense that will always fall for crappy schemes from fitfluencers with huge followings in the mistaken belief those huge followings equate genuine, educational programmes and bespoke training/nutrition advice.

What do these people manage exactly?? They're not doing a great job?!? 🙈 😂

Cue OH Furnace reviews via voicenote from 'real' people....yet they still sound like they're written by Shiv (same unusual phrases & syntax)& read out by randomers...

Surprised she was able to do those half burpees into a press with the 15kgs? Fair play
The 5 that she filmed? 😂 And she was buckled at the end of them!
For someone who alludes to training as much as she does, and can lift so heavy in snatches, deadlifts etc, I'm often shocked/surprised how 'weak' her isolation moves are.
Her leg curls when training with Becca last week, and even moves like pushups should be a piece of piss for her? It's all very odd...

Yeah full disclosure I could be very wrong here, but I think I remember on a previous thread someone said it’s not her program she’s just the face of it and “sells” it for someone else? Or something like that. So not quite a MLM but a kind of similar scheme of sorts.
