Does anyone else think that syd Mac has came and absolutley killed the sims YouTube game? And now deli is putting out build challenges and videos that she’s never done before obviously taking inspo from syd and not crediting her? I just feel like deli has realised syd is going to be the new sims YouTube star and she’s trying to copy syds content to stay on top. Sorry deli we can tell you haven’t got the passion anymore

I loved AndrewArcade back in like 2013 when he was playing a sims 3 legacy challenge on twitch, and I watched his youtube videos too. But he had a habit of constantly deletng videos/privating them then unprivating etc, not uploading for months and he deleted all his old streams from twitch so it just became annoying.
Plumbella I find quite unfunny and forced but I liked her videos at the start. I can't even make it through a video from LilSimsie she sounds so passive agressive and kind of unstable all the time lol it makes me nervous.

I just don't get how you could make a Sims video every day for YEARS like Lilsimsie says she does. Like, it's a fairly open game but does it have THAT much content?

The new video is the first of Deli's that I've watched in months... The whole video could have easily been edited down to under 3 minutes of actual useful information.
There was so much unnecessary filler - including the bizarre 30 seconds of Deli dancing to the new in game song, zooming in to her butt and pixilating it

I watch a lot of YT mostly in the background, and over the past 2yrs I've grown to hate deligracy. I'm a tad younger then her only by a year and holy smokes she is an idiot. The girl has 0 life skills, it's actually shocking. I don't understand how you can get to this point without understanding basic things its like an entire part of her growing up is just missing. How this girl ever completed a tafe course to get a degree is beyond me.
1. The vlog posts. As someone else said on here she's clearly trying to change her channel into some weird lifestyle/ vlog channel. Issue being she has such high anxiety that she doesn't do ANYTHING? Every vlog is her sitting in her house, making food (salad) or talking about nothing.shes weirdly showing off these expensive brands and continues to says "not sponsored" at this point it's probably easier to just say when things are sponsored since no one gives her paid ads anyway. Her vids are just complete clickbait that based on views none of her audience likes, but she continues to make them because they're easy to produce.
2. The house. This is by far the weirdest bit. They have brought this house, only reason I know this is she once mentioned that her anxiety has stopped her from saying they purchased (basically out of guilt that others cant) this got to me the most. I live in Melbourne Australia where she is, we're trying to buy at the moment the market is insane. When we finally get a house, yes we will be grateful for being able to purchase, but we won't feel guilty that is so strange I can't even begin to explain it. To me that screams something else is going on. since deli has shown parts of the house I can almost a sure you they live along the Mornington peninsula possibly in Dromana or Rye (not a cheap, most homes are in the millions)
3. Life skills. They brought a 1970s home that is a basic witch flip (someone came in painted the walls/ kitchen and sold) she has so little life skills that she ripped a pinboard off the wall, and doesn't know how to patch the massive paint peeling left in its place. So they've just lived with it... for like 6mths. You're a youtuber... watch a dam youtube video!! They keep trying to get builders in, but this is really hard in melbs atm since they're all so busy. So none of them want to go in and do the such basic diy jobs that will take like 2days so they are probably over quoting them just so they don't have to take the job. I've heard her talk about other random things as well being like "I'm not sure how that works?" I dont understand why she doesn't google it or make any effort to educate herself. It goes into her sim game play as well she just never bothers to do any research.
4. LPs. I started watching her when she did Get Famous LP and loved it. I'd been a simmer since sims1 and regularly played when I had time off work. It was good, well put together and funny. Now her videos are clearly money grabbing crap. She hasn't done a good LP in years, anything she does has a weird story line that is just borderline offence. She either attacks the LGBTQ community by her lack of knowledge or stereotypes her sims. She makes like 4 episodes then gives up. She has no consistency.
Fact is she clearly lost all imagination and will to play the game. And can't get another job because she clearly has no life skills to pass a job interview. I see her channel dropping slowly below 50k per vid until she eventually just stops posting all together. Likely with no comment.
Ps. She actually lost her game changers title once because she was so lazy she didn't follow up on an email to re-register with EA. It was in the start of a vid about a pack, thays how little effort she puts in these days.

And she's not interesting/likeable enough to change categories. James I like but he needs to go back to building, his latest LP has been going on FOREVER and isn't interesting.
Not quite right, it's that he didn't earn enough to support her visa application as it has an income requirement. Which isn't even very high, it's barely minimum wage if working full time. But as far as I know, all he does is edit her videos and streams a few times a week to a very small audience.
I have no doubt that he still would have been moving there if he actually did have an income though. I doubt there was even much discussion about the other way.
She's 22. He is older but not much, maybe 23-24? But yeah, they're young. Doubt they would have gotten married so soon if it wasn't for the visa. Neither of them are qualified enough in any other category so spouse was the only option to actually live in the same country.

Thank you! It brings me no joy to say this, but she really is kind of dumb. I've started watching her years ago and at first she was quite fun, non-problematic, even the lifestyle videos were okay. She was by no means extremely knowledgeable about The Sims, but you could tell there was effort there.
It seems to me like she regressed the past couple of years, especially now when she's with James, because she can depend on somebody for everything.
A few days ago on Instagram she bought some kombucha and, as she does, tagged the brand and wrote "I've been missing this. Maybe I'll tag @thebrand so they'll send some HEHE ". It's not funny. She contantly tags brands hoping they'll send her stuff for free. Then she complains about everything being expensive and continues to buy expensive stuff.
I can't with the stupid dumbfounded thumbnails. It immediately puts me off.
It's so annoying. It goes to show she really wouldn't be able to get another job because she got so used to having no consequences of not knowing how to do stuff.
I agree. I can definitely see her doing a sad/anxious video saying the channel is not doing well and somehow blaming it on the algorhythm or her viewers, passively aggressively.

I'm not totally sold that they will release any more EPs, to be honest. I think the players are crying out for Generations but they've been saying that for years and the game just isn't created to be family-inclusive, so I struggle to see how they'll pull this off if they do do it. Might just be a case of scrapping and rebuilding TS5 as a less Young Adult focussed game.
Does anyone else wonder if something weird happened between Plumbella and RTGame? I know they broke up a while ago but the way she constantly goes on about being asexual now does make me wonder. They don’t follow each other on socials anymore. I remember she had a boyfriend before him in about 2019 ish who would appear in the back of her videos sometimes so it is a big change.
I know they both did “why YouTube is awful and ruining my metal health” videos at the same time. I think that was while they were both living in her house. So maybe living and working together didn’t suit them.

Plumbella seems like one of those people who lurches from crisis to crisis in life, never fully satisfied with her current lot. She also appears to be a massive trend-chaser whose entire personality changes based on whatever subreddit they’ve just discovered.
I know she is ASD and this probably plays a big part of it but it is exhausting to watch someone constantly reinvent themselves every 4 months and claim that the current incarnation is the ‘real me’ or whatever.

Deli is bizarre, I just watched her make a whole video to “update her simself” because she lost a marginal bit of weight irl and if your world and bubble is that small and self absorbed it cannot be healthy especially for anxiety. I love her healthy lifestyle content and I totally resonate with not feeling your best after lockdown but posting every workout and vlogging in the mirror the tiniest hint of abs is maybe not the healthiest thing. Like a lot of YTers I think she would benefit from getting out of her own head.

My thoughts as well. I agree that one has to love oneself, but ever since the whole health program thing, her self-absorption really shines through. She has made some progress and kudos to her, but those are not abs.
I suppose when you have 20 comments saying "you look fabulous", that's all you need to hear. Others are probably just haters.
And as predicted, she announced a new health/lifestyle channel. Gotta stay relevant somehow so better make a channel to tag all of my fancy organic spices and lululemon outfits and hope I get freebies!

. Did anyone else notice when her editing of longer research content started to heavily resemble Izzzyzzz’s research videos, like same visuals and sounds. Could have just been a coincidence but I think it’s more that she saw one of her videos and hoped none of her viewers would have.

Yesterday, at a lack of videos to watch, I clicked on Deligracy's newest Willow Creek renovation.
After 8 years, she has finally learned that Willow Creek is inspired by New Orleans. This is the first time in years she has actually done some research before recording so her ignorance isn't as apparent. She googled shotgun houses, She even googled how to pronounce New Orleans. Usually, this would be nothing to write home about, but it's Deligracy we're talking.
On another note, what is up with the ugly dark wood flooring that Lilsimsie uses in EVERY build? Even the base game has some nice lighter-toned wooden floors, but no, it has to be the same dark wood and all the furniture then has to match the dark tone. It's so old-looking and boring that I can't comprehend how she doesn't get sick of it, building the same type of house several times a week.
