we were trying for 2 years but I’ve given up since all my friends recently have had traumatic births. I cba with that, I think I prefer the child free life

It was - 'and they still won't take me down even though I'm 1.5cm dilated' yesterday.In the worst pain of her life at 3cm dilated lol.... oh dear she's in a for a massive massive shock
LOL active labour doesn't start til 3 or 4 Steph
she is going to be in shock if the pessary was the worst pain of her life. I foresee begging for an epidural as soon as contractions start.Omg, is this true!? I went in for an induction at 38 weeks, it felt like it was never ending.
I was taken to the delivery suite at 7pm on the Saturday and never gave birth til 5pm the Sunday... she's in for a long wait.

It's probably why she needed the 3 pessaries.
Not always the case but obviously the earlier you are, the more preparing your body needs to do.
Ive been over due with all of mine and induced with them all and the first pessary started them all off within a few hours and had to be removed.
Where as last time the girl opposite, bless her, was being induced at 37 weeks and she was on her 2nd round of 24 hour pessaries, 2 lots of 4 hour gels and they were about to give her a 24 hour rest before trying again.

I’ll place my life savings on this ending in caesarean now. She’s on a slippery slope if she’s already got an epidural and the baby’s HR is reacting.

Can’t relate to labour experience- I’m a mum of a few sprogs but all I’ve some out of the sunroof so I’ve not had the joy of contractions.

When I was in agony in labour I couldn't even pick up the phone to my dad, let alone do instagram stories worst pain ever apparently

Off the drip again.
Definitely going to end up with a csection I think. Its been a while since her waters started leaking so they'll be running on a short time line.
Don't think she even considered that an option with the amount she was talking about getting back to walking and going on long walks ect
