The confusion around this is an example of how cleverly the whole situation was handled by Simone and her PR team.
This is an excerpt from a Herald article.
”This discrepancy was made due to the fact that all charitable donations I make are under my legal name of Pretscherer; which is the name on my birth certificate, passport and bank account.
"I have made donations to Women's Refuge, among other charities, and have receipts."
She said the relevant evidence had been supplied to the Commerce Commission.
"When the communications manager was notified of this, she reviewed her records again, and confirmed that donations had indeed been made under the name of Simone Pretscherer."
As we now know, Simone had donated, but only after June 2020. Simone said in that article that the WR Communications Manager confirmed that she had donated. But the WR was only confirming that a donation had been received after June 2020. Simone omits that in her statement. The first donation to WR was received on June 7th 2020.

I believe so, she donated to a number of charities while she was going through court, to cover her tracks. She still donates $2-5 to multiple charities weekly. So she can still tell the public she's helping others. She is trying to make herself feel better after she stole from everyone. She's not doing it with good intent. I bet she cringes every week seeing money go out.

Most of the people she knows are other ‘influencers’ I would call them acquaintances…..around 4 years ago she did have a tight group of friends. They all tried to help her, I'm told she was like a ‘closed book’ she never showed any emotions and would go about her day like nothing had happened. She's had so many people drop off, because she's so fake

Yes lots of people and influencers rallied around her in the beginning. She gave them nothing, no emotion what so ever - a lot of them saw right through this. I even know of many influencers from other cities believed her in the beginning and then fell out with herOr have any of the friends ever brought it up with her causing her to no longer associate with them?
Does she honestly think she is a good mum with the little time she spends with them or does she really think she is a multitasker extriodonaire who works full time

In fact, that just got me thinking about her talking about the kids. She never spoke about them much. We all have children when we would speak about them she wouldn't engage too much about her boys

It seems like that…….you hardly see them at any other children's parties or associating with other children. That's not because she can't post other children on insta, she could always block out faces, I believe they take excursions with the boys just for content or its an ad!

She was making a lot of money when she was influencing for bigger companies, but that's since died off. Trent is earning a good income, they would have quite a bit of disposable income due to the amount of freebies she gets, but that is quickly going down the drain! I still can't believe she is getting work. There are so many PR companies who will not go near her! She does like to flaunt her earnings

Everyone in the media knows about her, I've been told they can't run stories as she did so much to cover her tracks. I.e she does donate to charities, but only minimal amounts, she donated larger sums when going through court and due to the NDA the workens refuge can't talk about it. She is so manipulative, that on the day lf the Makaia statement being released; she manipulated another charity to take her to a safe house to give donations like nappies etc and even posed outside showing the amount she was given. The charity was shocked to learn that afternoon the statement was being released. She knew that it was being released on that day. The charity was in disbelief and realised how much of a fraud she was…..

She buys them from DHGate, most people who buy designer hangbags keep the boxes & recipients, knowing her if they were real she would have the boxes on display in her wardrobe. There is no way she could afford to have that many designer items. LV bags are 4-5k each, YSL - 2-5k - she wears so many different ones, there is no way they are real. Also seeing as she's selling her Gucci bag, surely she would have others she would be trying to sell. The Gucci bag is real

Knowing how women's refuge was defrauded through her greed, she can never raise integrous children, because she can never truthfully lead by example. She lacks it TRent lacks it, by enabling and condoning her use of the children.

Regarding the letter, no this letter is a separate issue.
The letter being referred to by spillingthetea24 is a letter that Simone and Trent had a good, trusting friend write to confirm that Simone had been donating, when others said she had not. This person, in a position of high trust, wrote a letter saying that Simone had been donating during the period before June 2020. Simone then used this letter, and possibly still continues to use it, to convince businesses of her innocence. Trent convinced the person to write the letter by saying that Simone was so upset by the donations situation and potentially losing her career as an influencer, that she was possibly going to have a miscarriage (Simone was pregnant with Asher at this time). The trusting friend wrote the letter believing in Simone’s innocence and was absolutely devastated when the Herald article came out that evening or the next day which printed part of Makaia Carr’s legal statement that there were no donations before June 2020.
