I was thinking about this yesterday when she had them out sitting on the grassy “burm” in their pjs for the fireworks…did they then getting into their Fresh Sheet Fridays with grubby pjs??

I just remembered that I need new pantry containers and I previously avoided buying from a certain business because they worked with Scammo but now it’s clear they don’t I think I’ll be placing a large order when we renovate our kitchen 🥳

That’s not how it works.
There are multiple news streams and multiple layers of journalists and people who can publish literally whatever they want without an approval process. Herald, Stuff, RNZ, TVNZ, Discovery, radio shows, magazines, podcasts, columnists… literally hundreds of people who could publish an exposé if they had the goods. I’m not saying she isn’t worthy of an exposé… just that there mustn’t be enough concrete evidence not to get slapped with a cease and desist.

To avoid being slapped with a lawsuit, a journalist needs to be able to either reveal their source and attribute all information to that source or show “honest truth” which is basically the only defence against defamation (it’s not defamation if it’s true so you need to be able to prove something is true or provide enough evidence that you were led to believe it was true - which is where the source would also come in in this case). If a source refuses to go on the record then you have nothing to fall back on when she takes legal action. Reading between the lines, I would say that this is why the media won’t touch the story.
