so sad her first born worker knows the only way he can get validation from his mother is to act out what he's been coached to do.

If that isn't the reason, the other one is, she's set up the camera and into full Director mode, told him what to do for HER engagement

Either way Simone, this isn't a moment to be proud of. This is a small child who only knows how to "people please" because he realises if he doesn't do the right thing he isn't validated. Hopefully soon he will be able to say those words which will convey how he feels.
