What a snooze-fest it’s been in the FARTS household today. Apart from the occasional ruffle of feathers when she’s actually seen in the wild and captured on film, dear old Simone has nothing. Just some sad copied recipes and a cheap and nasty PR box to share.

Simone seems to post a lot about toddler tantrums and communication - which seems so out of place as she never discusses this herself, only shared others Instagram posts. It would be good to hear her experience with this, how she handles it, what works, what doesn’t. Is Asher a bit of a nightmare and this is her way of communicating to those who know her in person/‘real life’. Age 2-3 is a pretty challenging age for kids!

She did once on a ask me from memory where she said they wait for A to calm down then talk to him about it … might be helpful if she read the things she post and took note of the steps she’s missing to help her boys calm down and move through their emotions to help them with self regulation. No doubt she’ll just pay someone else to do it so she can ignore them like she has with their sleep

Thing is like a lot of influencers at the moment aren’t posting lots and still have a following. I think a lot of people are not using Instagram like they used to. More for scrolling and not unfollowing people.
As for the reel. Asher will be at the age where if he’s struggling to communicate he will be getting wound up. She would be best to teach him sign language and have pictures around the place so he can point to what he wants. It’s hard when their brain knows what they want but they struggle to communicate it.

She missed a great chance to grow her following organically, by talking about speech delays, and potentially educating herself and others in the process. (No shade, my son was a late talker and turns out he needed grommets (never had any ear infections at all)).

The way she deals with it is hand balling him off to daycare, going out every night with friends and away every second weekend child free
