The amount was discussed between both lawyers for a settlement, but had to sign and under no circumstances able to share amounts or can be pulled back into court and I would possibly have to pay. Pebbles isn't with holding it, it will be a legal requirement in the signed agreement.

I don't think pebbles would have settled for anything less (and good on her too!)
 
I read Pebble's post on Patreon and while it didn't tell us anything new, it was quite heartwrenching to read what she had been put through by someone who thought they could get the better of her because they had more money. But Pebbles is determined, and she was willing to put herself on the line (emotionally, mentally) to fight for what was right. You don't have to love everything someone does or says to be able to recognise when they do something good, and this is that. I commend Pebbles for not ever backing down. Simone, GO duck YOURSELF.
 
Maybe you don't need to find empathy for her though? To be glad that Simone got some sort of comeuppance in the form of a financial cost? She wasted hours of police time - I find empathy for those that couldn't get the resources they needed because the police were off conducting an arrest and search of someone who was so very dangerous over an app that the person of focus (many kms away) felt physically endangered enough to CALL 111. How does that call even go? "I'm scared of someone saying mean things about me on Instagram". Now, think for a moment how this would go if Simone weren't from Hobsonville but from... Otara? Otahuhu? Manurewa? Clendon? The woman has a sickening amount of privilege. She literally called the police on Pebbles because she is SCARED of her reputation being ruined. It's disgusting behaviour. So, maybe no empathy needed but bleeping praise for continuing on in the face of all that fuckery, when she was gagged and couldn't say a word, couldn't earn a living like Simone did as per usual through constant ads and cash cows... all because Simone can't handle the truth.

She's not my biggest nemesis by any means, I don't like her, I see through her BS, and I'm as disgusted as the next person over the WR funds. I just find these threads interesting and mildly amusing. But I also dislike pebbles, she's a nasty little peice of trash, I have no respect for her at all.
