do you still purchase these? Why not show us your beautifully organised fridge (no shade, I wish mine looked as nice) or you could do a reel for us making this week’s recipes?

or do you not want to share their devine meals since they dropped you? Don’t your followers deserve to know you don’t partner with them anymore?

or (most likely) you don’t actually buy them and are just lying? 🤔

Wow is that Simplify My Home? If so, maybe she was just waiting for the laundry reveal post to run it’s course and then she chopped it.

I had Simone promote some products for me about 4 years ago (not long after I started to see how ridiculously fake she was and stopped) but what would happen is you’d have this sudden and quick surge of engagement and website traffic but it would only last the 24 hours that the story was up for. Perhaps she was waiting for that to run it’s course.

my guess would be with contracts in place it wouldn’t be super easy just to pull the plug.
Can I ask when you used Simone, did the increased engagement and website traffic result in sales? Was it money well spent?

I didn’t pay her, just sent her free clothes and she promoted them with a discount code. So I unwittingly contributed to her Womens Refuge scam which makes me feel sick 😔

There would be a lot of tyre kickers who would add to cart then not complete the sale but there would be some sales as a result. Not as many as you would think for someone with 316k followers. Worth it? I was just starting our back then so for me it seemed amazing at the time.

something else to consider is that often discount codes will be grabbed and put on websites and apps that promote discount codes so some of the sales businesses see might not be coming from the influencer themselves.

something else to consider from SMH POV is that Simone isn’t gaining new human followers and Hannah’s products don’t change so she would have quickly saturated the market that is Simone’s following and got good sales to start with and it would have naturally fallen away
 
Side note: I no longer use influencers at all - the whole influencer space makes me angry and I’m yet to find one that fully espouses the same values I want for my brand. In the beginning, I felt like because I was this small fish, I couldn’t say no to them asking for freebies without tarnishing my brand. It took a few years but eventually I got the point where I was sick of selling my soul to the devil and now I just don’t engage when they ask for free tit. (Simone didn’t ask for free tit but many of them do)

Yeh but this is the same brand who thinks it’s all good to video oneself putting on their makeup while driving… a la Molly Brownlee
 
I find it hilarious she still buying bots to stay at 316k considering she stated in her live CF that she wouldn't care if she had 1000 followers.
Has anyone added in that email her partnerships proof she purchases bots?
Because if it is a contract thing then misleading and fake on her behalf.
