Let’s talk Maternity Leave….

I’m not self employed. I recently was on Mat leave and the rules around receiving money on Mat leave are quite straight forward if you’re employed, I.e. you can’t work for the first 28 days while on Mat leave but after that you can earn 10 or less hours while on Mat leave. How does it work for self employed like ol mate Semen? We all know she was out there pushing products 3 seconds after A was born…..

If she’s low enough to scam a charity, she’s low enough to duck with her maternity leave.

You cannot work if receiving PPL payments (although you can do some ‘keeping in touch hours’

I’m sure her helpful accountant will assist with PPL!

It does seem like an absolute rort.

The only people getting anywhere near their money's worth are on tattle reporting back to all of us - Saints they are! 😇

Surely if she claims PPL payments she’ll need to stop close friends also… I wonder if she just won’t claim PPL as the payments are minimal compared to what she’ll be earning from her close friends, affiliate links and ads etc. Definitely something for us to look into and maybe contact our friends at the IRD about…
