It should only be bought back if it was normal people not ones with social followings and went right back to the basics of people just living together without all of the super expensive shopping budgets, twists to steal prize money etc.

I liked it when they had animals to tend to and things like that. Also used to love the proper feeds so you could watch any time and not just the producers edits

No I don't like that idea of animals being used in reality shows.
 
A celeb version every now and then might be good.

But wokeness and tv channels that aim to provide an all woke way of life , means that no "civilian" could say anything , one mistake could see the woke idiots wanting people cancelled and their lives ruined, so anyone with a right mind would never apply.
So all it would be is extreme diverse people and wokes all trying to virtue signal their way to the win, I have absolutely no interest in watching that rubbish.
 
I would love them to bring Big Brother back. I was a huge fan and got into it every year. I loved Nikki's tantrums in BB7. I loved Maxwell and Saskia. I loved Dereck and Science - the cardboard box task where Science poured water into Derek in his box and his little posh accent telling him not to dare do it. Victor and the knife, Michelle the bunny boiler. Alex singing behind the bedroom door to BeeGee's. Lots of memorable ones. I guess I stopped watching it when it went to Channel 5 and they started filling it with wannabe z listers.
If they brought it back and had just lots of normal, everyday people in it I would definitely watch it but if it was going to have your typical ''i love myself'' type on it, I wouldn't waste my time.

series 6 , with saskia maxwell and Derek , plus series 7 with Nikki are my two favourite series , i had them downloaded and ive watched them both a couple on times over the years
 
I absolutely used to love big brother, but I always preferred the civilian ones to the celeb ones.

I think if it were to be bought back, you'd have the issue that everyone applying would be fame hungry, insta wannabes. I don't think you'd see the true personalities and traits of people as you did within the early series as everyone is now so aware of social media - they'd be trying to create a persona who they think would do well as an "influencer" rather than maybe showing their true self.
 
I've been watching those old celebreality VH1 dating shows lately. I know they stopped making them because a contestant murdered his wife, but I don't think they could be made today either.
 
I watched it from the one where Nadia won until the one where Sophie/Dogface won and that was the series I would just tune in and out of - it really started going downhill at this point. There was even a task in that one where Lisa and Dave (x?) dressed up in costumes and left the house and rode on a bus - like wtf? or when the housemates broke out and ran backstage where all the cameras are ... just odd.

Its definitely had its day but my favorite highlights were

- Fight Night
- The wedding where Michelle wanted to be the bride and Victor got called c*nt
- Get Grace out and chucking water over Susie
- Chiggy romance
- Jacuzzi pregnancy
- Loved the moment Kemal got water thrown over him by Maxwell and he said - well at least one of us got wet and it wasn't Saskia.
