I find a lot of tiktok mums with autistic children try to make out they are worse than they are. I've got autistic children so its not a me not understanding thing. But some I've seen will post their child saying loads in context not just echolalia and still be like oh my child's none verbal . It seems like some seem to thrive of their child struggling it's sad.

Exactly this! Loads want to make out they're worse and I just don't get it. For example my son is autistic, he's not non verbal but has very little functional language skills and his understanding is quite poor. I don't say he's non verbal if anything I say he's pre verbal or minimally speaking. I for one would never want to make my child's disability seem worse than it is, no one does that woth physically disabled kids why the duck do they do it woth autism?? Why would you want your child to struggle more? Are they looking a pity party or what? Boils my piss

Oh I agree, my social media is full of these mums!! Me being a Sen mum, I couldn't imagine letting everyone know the struggles in my kids, I'd rather praise them. 😂😂😂

THIS !! I am SEN mum, and it is a struggle, there are times when i've finally got everyone to sleep and i just cry. but i would NEVER EVER make out my child is worse than they are, i am always looking for positives, and if anything i down play how difficult things are.

100% and not just TikTok mums either. I have a woman on my Facebook just like this. It’s all for attention and sympathy from others. It’s like they want their children to have as many health/social issues as possible and just love to share this with the world. The kids don’t need their medical history sharing with every randomer. Clearly missing something in their lives to feel the need to gain attention from strangers

de railing the thread slightly, but i agree, it is nice to have other parents / careers to speak about experiences, methods etc and the internet can be amazing for this, but you can do this without disclosing your childs medical history !! With some its almost like a competition as to who has it worse

Why would you be proud of your nanny resorting to violence was she not able to have a adult conversation 😕 I would be morto if my family did that i certainly wouldn't be boasting about it. Also those pj's Jesus christ I never seen anything as bad I would never put a child in them 🤣 the worst thing I've ever seen. As for the decorative pots 🤣 have them sat on the cooker looking cluttered ridiculous how big is her stable to store all that shyte she has.

The whole world of social media has convinced everyone there is something wrong with them or their children. My sister in law is pushing and pushing for a diagnosis for her son, he can push the boundaries at time but doesn’t every child ? She took him for a haircut and said she knew he would get overwhelmed because of his ‘sensory issues’ the child is 5 and my 4 year old daughter would t like getting a haircut because it means she would have to sit still for more than five mins 😂 none of his teachers believe he has anything wrong with him and neither does my mother in law who works in an SEN school. It grinds my gears because there are children out there who really really need the help but the recourses are spread out so thinly now to people who don’t really need them but TikTok has convinced them their child has something wrong.

Shannon’s showed her boy eating a variety of food. In my experience of three kids and being 1 of 9, all kids go through faxes with their food. I’m not denying he has ARFID or autism just the fact that she exaggerates his problems for sympathy. As a mother I can’t fathom WHY you would want your child to struggle more than they would do. Life is cruel for everyone, why would you want to add to that when it’s not necessary?

Why is the mortgage free woman with high cleanliness standards buying a fridge off marketplace? Who’d hand over cash without checking it first? Why not go to the police if you’ve been scammed? Posting a brief text conversation doesn’t mean the man hasn’t been threatened with his house being burned down.

She really thinks she has done something posting the profile picture of her ‘scammer’ …
Shannon you have no business going in for someone when your lips look like that. Take a look in the mirror, sort your migrated botched lips, get a refund on those moth-like lash extensions, give your hair a good wash and cut and THEN maybe you can try again. But when she looks as rough as a badgers arse, she can’t be doing that. The audacity 😂😂😂 she’s a mum of 3, how does she even have the time to create TikTok beef with someone selling a second hand fridge 🫠🫠

Imagine being that much online that you think your following means anything in the actual world… Shannon, I’m sure David doesn’t give a duck how many followers you have 😂 if he’s an actual scammer, he’ll have several phone numbers and won’t care if you share that either 😅

And the 'I'm sorry if you didn't have someone to go that hard for you' she really pushes the bad traveller stereotype then wonders why people are afraid of them in their communities or they be followed around shops ect

I'm the first to comment but she said her lolly's face has no expression. Her face is such a resting nasty bitchy face I could punch. Smug and thinks she's all it because she has 550k follows. Well done Shannon. Round of applause.

Stop with the big head babe. It doesn't suit u and that's coming from someone who knows u in the like. witch.
