For someone who didn't make it into the villa, got so little air time and was off in a few days to get a tattoo in commemoration of the show it's absolutely tragic. Even if she had won the show it would still have been tragic. Maura has played her cards right, left it well on the past and moved on to bigger things.

You would have to be a pretty awful person to be banned from a funeral. If it's true that she smuggled drugs into prison for him then she is partly responsible for his death. I didn't know much about her at the time but I will never forget the way she carried on, she did everything she could to make his passing about her. It was appalling.
