Blended family of 5 becoming 6 🤦🏼‍♀️ its fucked up. When you go into recovery, be it meetings rehab etc it’s heavily reiterated that getting into a relationship with someone else in recovery, especially in the early days, is not a good idea. Getting clean is the easy part, staying clean is where the hard work starts, adjusting to life without your substance of choice, finding new coping skills and ways to overcome urges etc takes time. She’s only known this guy a short while, they’re probably still in the honeymoon period ffs. She should be focusing the two children she already has and herself before even thinking about getting into a serious relationship let alone having a baby, it’s bleeping crazy 😞
 
There was a lady who used to live in my old street who had 3 kids taken from her. She then got pregnant a year later and social services took the baby from birth. Took baby from hospital. She came home with no baby. The stupid witch got pregnant Again a year after that and social services done the same and took the baby from birth. I can’t see them allowing Shan to keep this baby in her care. She hasn’t got full custody of her other two children she has no home. Surely there is no way they will allow her to keep it. I will be very very surprised if they do. If anything and they do let her then it might be in a mother and baby hostel. So she can be kept a close eye on. All the evidence they have on what she done to the other children she coykd fluo at any time. She’s not fit to be having another baby.

I totally agree with everything you have said.
However, has she been told she is having the kids back and can keep the new baby?
That's how I took it, when I read this that she wrote 6 days ago.

"I have had to work hard to get to get back all the things I have and be able to keep the new beginnings I have coming soon"

This is unlikely - she’s only extremely early in her pregnancy if EDD is March 2025- the LA will have to complete a pre birth assessment concluding no later than 4 weeks before this. The assessment will take into account the history (of which I am not au fait) - where her prev children removed or did their dad/s exercise PR and keep them in their care? His history - diff dad = diff circs. What has changed etc etc - then after the assessment is completed - should be within 35 working days a decision re next steps will be made. It’s unlikely a judge would make an order prior to birth - however an initial child protection conference could be convened - but again not till later when the pregnancy is viable. Hope that makes sense ☺️ (social worker here lol)

I think this is why she's had to keep Kate sweet. The only way she'd be able to keep the baby is staying with her I reckon. Moving in with another addict wouldn't be a wise move.

Also, the way she banged on about getting a 'diagnosis'. I wondered at the time why she wanted it so bad. She is so sly & manipulative, shame on SS for falling for her BS if she is allowed those little ones back.

The social services dept who dealt with the original case have everything, literally, I known that as fact.
I hope it all hasn't been " forgotten about" 😔

" in recovery " or not, it still happened.. social services were involved long before her tik tok bollocks.
Let's hope the right thing by the new baby and R and G, who have already been through enough😥
