All the way to New York for a film premiere when there’s loads in the UK she could go to? And wouldn’t involve taking her child out of school. Silly, silly woman. She thinks getting Ewa help with her school work will excuse it and fix all her problems. There’s more to school life than that.. she’s missing so much!

Tbf NYC is an amazing opportunity and life is way too short to be in school when you are getting offers like that. I’m not one to agree with Sec but if I got a chance to take my child to NYC I’d absolutely take her out of school. What an amazing thing to do at 8 years old!

Now to be fair to Ela, Sevvie only knows what New York is because of Sex and the City. Now, if she knows where it is, is a wildly different matter.

Poor Ela, I hugely empathise with her on this, because it will be such a waste of a trip with a parent like that (voice of experience).
She going to a city where there is so much cool and actually educational stuff for kids, but she’s going with an insular woman who has no earthly interest in anything outside herself, and will be just dragged around from dollar pizza slice place to discount souvenir shops to buy scutty discount magnets.
She will be listening to Sev bang on about how much cheaper they were in comparison to the ones they sell at the places/Airport for bleeping weeks.

Wow she is in for a shock. NYC is amazing and I loved it and cannot wait to return but wow expensive and she will hate tipping. But if she doesn’t she will feel out of it. It is very customary to tip in NY. There is so much to see but they will see none of it. Can’t wait for her to try and film in Times Square with the madness that it is. . She will also hate the queues at immigration as well. Cannot wait

More time off school for Ella. So the teachers will have to spend there time trying to catch Ella up from the school work she has missed, she may be having private tuition, to make sevda feel better for all the missed school Ella had missed, but she will always be playing catch up with the school work. All those extra resources she was saying it’s not fair for teachers, she is making there job harder, it’s because she persistently takes her child out of school. Nobody would complain about a holiday but persistently is a joke. Terrible parenting.

Is NY even for kids? I have been twice went back to reaffirm did not like lol. Tho it’s just a big city reminds me of Glasgow and Times Square was like Blackpool well just lights and nothing glamorous at all. Did not even rate the shops Macy’s was a disappointment it’s just not a great city. So many other cool cities in America. Maybe be nice if at Xmas do Home Alone Tour.

Let’s be honest, anyone would take a free trip to NY but she’s so undeserving! She’s dull and boring with zero personality, I honestly don’t understand how she manages to get these freebies. Can you imagine how exhausted she’ll be when she gets back, as well as the jet lag she’ll say they did not stop and did so much walking. No doubt princess Ela won’t want to walk anywhere, I think she’ll get bored. As others have said, I can’t wait to hear minge bag Sev cribbing over the cost of everything
I bet Sedation is loving having the house to himself for a few days, he’s probably getting himself off to Megan’s fick fighs as I type .
